Okay, this is my [http://img182.imageshack.us/img182/6206/greenmeadowslabels.jpg final draft] of the map itself. I toned down the scan lines, swapped the brown for dark green (like in the actual map) and added effect to the water. I put some sample labels on there for some input as to what looks best. There's a bunch of different bug location labels, and I tried out a few styles of displaying items. : The Dog Island labels look great. Of the text labels, I would go with D or E because they have high contrast and provide viewers the ability to see around the label more than one like A.
