Wow, you made it almost a month before I decided to stop just reverting your improper edits to come waste another plea on your talk page. Okay, so today I'm here to ask you (again) to use the buttons above the edit text box when creating new pages. Specifically, use the "Guide page" button, as this will put the {{t|Header Nav}} and {{t|Footer Nav}} into the page for you. This means, in a fair world, that you could prevent others from having to come in after you to add the navigation by hand, simply by '''PRESSING ONE BUTTON''' before you start editing. It's not that serious (unfortunately), because someone has to cleanup everything you do, even if you somehow mastered clicking a button. While I'm here I may as well reiterate that you shouldn't put a <nowiki>==Level 2 Heading==</nowiki> at the top of the page which is identical to the page name. Users know what page they're on already. This is where I would normally ask you to also use the Page preview button, but I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be able to identify something out of place even if you used it. Saying you "don't know how to use Wii images" just isn't going to cut it. If you read the [[StrategyWiki:Guide|Guide]], specifically the section on [[StrategyWiki:Guide/Organization#Controls|Controls]], you would find useful links to all button image templates. However, there are perfectly good examples of using the button templates you need '''on the very page you are attempting to edit'''. When you add content to a page, you ''must'' make sure you are conforming to the style and presentation being used. Look at the other sections in the page to see how they have been laid out and make your edits correspondingly. Use copy and paste if you have to. Please try again, as I agree that those pages need information on basic controls. - [[User:Najzere|<span style="color:#909090">najzere</span>]][[User talk:Najzere|<span style="color:#993300">T</span>]] 21:42, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

: Please don't make unnecessary removals from the page.  As I mentioned in the edit summary, I created those image slots for future uploads when the images do become available.  Also, the page in question is tagged as needing images, rather than having them removed - it is much more helpful to upload images from appropriate sources (including [http://forums.battle.net/thread.html?topicId=15211803043&postId=151628867227&sid=3000#0 official unit renders]) rather than interfering with the development of the page.  --[[User:Sigma 7|Sigma 7]] 05:17, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

== Welcoming users and IPs ==
To welcome a user (someone who has created an account with StrategyWiki), first make sure that they have made at least one edit, then use the {{t|welcome}} template. When welcoming IP addresses (not a SW user), use the {{t|register}} template. Both templates require the use of the "subst" keyword like: '''<nowiki>{{subst:welcome}}</nowiki>''' and '''<nowiki>{{subst:register}}</nowiki>'''. Your signature is automatically entered, so don't sign welcome messages. - [[User:Najzere|<span style="color:#909090">najzere</span>]][[User talk:Najzere|<span style="color:#993300">T</span>]] 21:55, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
== Wikipedia template ==
There may be nothing wrong with the Wikipedia template, but you need to be sure to put it in the right place if you're going to add it to a guide. I've rolled back your edit to the [[Disgaea: Hour of Darkness]] page (and the rest of them) because you added the template to the bottom of the page. If it should be anywhere on the page, it should be below the infobox (or the DoubleJump template in the case of guides with that template). Additionally, you may want to consider simply making a better use of your edits. If you want to add the Wikipedia template, that's fine, but try to add more to the page while you're making an edit. Additionally, make sure the Wikipedia article being linked to is for the same game as the page you are linking from, as we've found this isn't always the case in other places (primarily categories).--{{User:Vizeroth/Signature}} 23:42, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

You are changing quotes on [[Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3/Allied units]] from normal quotes to using the {{t|quote}} template with one edit per quote. There were only nine quotes, you can do all of them in a single edit instead of spamming the page's history and [[Special:RecentChanges|recent changes]]. The Show preview button is the one next to the Save page button below the edit text box. Use it instead of making multiple unnecessary edits in rapid succession. == Copyrighted material ==
[[Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars/Cairo]] has been deleted per our policy on copyrighted material. Your use of [http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/doswin/file/945551/48260 this source] is in violation of the copyright holder's license. If you want to copy/paste someone's work, you need to get their permission, make proof of their consent available for fact-checking (email, IM, etc.), and credit your source in the edit summary. Wait doesn't this wiki run on a GNU Free Documentation License?([[User:Noryb989|Noryb989]] 20:24, 18 May 2009 (UTC))
:Yes, which means you can use material with compatible licenses with attribution. The guide in question uses a normal copyright, with a stipulation that you have to inform the author of your intended use beforehand. If you do so, and the author agrees to let you use his guide, please provide a copy of or a link to the written permission, chat log, email or whatever he used to give you consent. Then make sure to put a link to his guide in the edit summary when you recreate the page (or I can undelete it for you). If you do ask to use the guide, make sure you inform him that it will be released under the GFDL and may be modified and copied after that without any input from him. - [[User:Najzere|<span style="color:#909090">najzere</span>]][[User talk:Najzere|<span style="color:#993300">T</span>]] 20:51, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
Please don't remove perfectly good information claiming that it's copyrighted without doing some research first. The information on [[Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath]] came from Wikipedia, and was published under the GFDL license which is compatible with our own. Furthermore, the information is attributed in [http://strategywiki.org/w/index.php?title=Command_%26_Conquer_3:_Kane%27s_Wrath&diff=next&oldid=249746 the page's edit history]. Most of the guides use Wikipedia's writeup on the main page, so don't go around deleting that information. If you find something you find is suspect, the proper course is to add the {{t|copyvio}} template at the top of the page. This will alert an admin, who will look into it. - [[User:Najzere|<span style="color:#909090">najzere</span>]][[User talk:Najzere|<span style="color:#993300">T</span>]] 22:18, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

== Cleaning up your own edits ==
Tags such as {{t|cleanup}} and {{t|needcontrols}} are notes to the editor to fix problems on the page. Putting these on every page you edit doesn't give you license to make bad edits. You are essentially notifying yourself that your page needs to be cleaned up. Instead of putting meaningless tags on the pages, you should just clean them up and add controls yourself. I went through [[Battalion Wars 2/Anglo Attack‎‎]] and cleaned up most of it, so take a look at [http://strategywiki.org/w/index.php?title=Battalion_Wars_2%2FAnglo_Attack&diff=395635&oldid=395550 the diff] to see what you should be changing. Specifically, add your own [[:Category:Controller button templates|button templates]], don't capitalize every other word (just names, titles, places) and don't put underscores in the <code>prevpage</code> and <code>nextpage</code> parameters of the Footer Nav. I expect you'll go back and fix the other [[Battalion Wars 2]] pages you've created on your own now. Thanks, - [[User:Najzere|<span style="color:#909090">najzere</span>]][[User talk:Najzere|<span style="color:#993300">T</span>]] 15:20, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
It is done. I cleaned up Shipyard Ablaze and Incursion but those 2 pages only have a few control templates though. No need to add more control images to those two pages.([[User:Noryb989|Noryb989]] 18:50, 23 May 2009 (UTC))
:Great, just keep working on it and don't forget to remove the cleanup or needcontrols tags when they're no longer applicable. Thanks for fixing these things, - [[User:Najzere|<span style="color:#909090">najzere</span>]][[User talk:Najzere|<span style="color:#993300">T</span>]] 18:54, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
You welcome.([[User:Noryb989|Noryb989]] 21:29, 23 May 2009 (UTC))
:Please stop capitalizing seemingly at random. You should only be capitalizing the first letters of sentences and names. I don't understand why you are capitalizing words like "next" or "large". Also, if you're going to capitalize the name of a unit or weapon, make sure you are consistent throughout the guide and especially on the very same page. Words beginning with a capitalized letter let readers know that it is the name of something, and misusing it is confusing and unprofessional. - [[User:Najzere|<span style="color:#909090">najzere</span>]][[User talk:Najzere|<span style="color:#993300">T</span>]] 17:59, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

== ToC templates ==
If you put a template like {{t|cleanup}} on a guide's ToC, it gets spread throughout the guide, because it is transcluded twice on every page (in the Header and Footer Navs). First of all, the ToC doesn't need a ''cleanup'', it just needs to be filled out. Second, if you want to add tags to the ToC, put them in <nowiki><noinclude></nowiki> tags so they don't interfere with all the other pages in the guide. - [[User:Najzere|<span style="color:#909090">najzere</span>]][[User talk:Najzere|<span style="color:#993300">T</span>]] 18:40, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

== Responding to your talk page ==
Why are you responding to posts on your talk page from MONTHS ago? The original poster (probably me) doesn't care anymore. You received a lot of posts asking you to shape up, and there's no point in responding to them after this much time has passed and you've (presumably) improved. When your talk page has been edited you'll see '''a big orange box''' at the top of the screen notifying you. When you see it, go to your talk page and respond ''at that time'' if you want to have a discussion. — [[User:Najzere|<span style="color:#909090">najzere</span>]][[User talk:Najzere|<span style="color:#993300">T</span>]] 22:58, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
I have to respond to every message to prove I'm listening to your advices. Also I am trying to improve my edits here and with all due respect there is nothing here that needs improvements because most of the articles don't need my help.([[User:Noryb989|Noryb989]] 01:10, 7 July 2009 (UTC))
:Every article needs ''something'', but if you're having trouble finding things to do, you can always check out the [[StrategyWiki:Cleanup project|cleanup project]]. Posting comments to all your old talk page messages isn't proving you're listening to any advice; it only highlights the fact that you never responded in a timely matter. What proves you listened to the advice is that your edits have improved. I wouldn't worry about any messages that are older than a month – if you haven't received any recently it's because you've been making good edits. — [[User:Najzere|<span style="color:#909090">najzere</span>]][[User talk:Najzere|<span style="color:#993300">T</span>]] 15:39, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
