| Hi Notmyhandle. How do you do? I was recently nominated for administrator. Can I ask you to give your opinion? | Hey NMH, I apologize, but I deleted some of the weirder permutations of MS-DOS. Part of it was I couldn't understand when someone might capitalize the O or the S, but not anything else. But the other part of it has to do with what people see when they start typing in the search bar and what they see as an auto-complete suggestion. I typed "MS" and got flooded with variations on the same thing, and I wanted that to be a nicer experience. Let me know your thoughts on how to handle this better. Thanks! | :I wasn't aware that redirects populate the auto-suggestion table. Perhaps we can prevent redirects from appearing there? Anyways, no worries. Just doing my redirect creation duty where I can see possible. I believe the previous consensus was to create all permutations of misspellings, though common sense dictates we only create redirects for pages that editors actually mistype. Categories like MS-DOS are less important compared to permutations of game names and their many abbreviations and acronyms. -- 18:42, 24 April 2019 (UTC)

| ::I hadn't thought about the search suggestions issue, and that's probably the best option. I should put in a feature request so that if multiple results all redirect to the same page, only one is shown. I wouldn't want alternate name redirects not to show up. Hiding redirects is a past feature request. -- Prod (talk) 18:46, 24 April 2019 (UTC)

| Long, long ago... Procyon asked me if I wanted to propose for "featured guide" one of my Ultima guides. I recently completed the guide for Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar. If there is an Ultima that deserves to be put under the limelight, this is the one. The player can learn actual philosophy from it! All the game invites the player to improve him/herself in real life. It is an absolutely unique game in history of role-playing video games. --Abacos (talk) 14:01, 11 June 2019 (UTC)
