Archives and bots (ctd.)

To archive:

1. Delete content that is out of date/to be archived.
2. At the top of the page (in Monobook theme, not sure about Dolphin - the current default) click "history".
3. Click on (or open a new tab) the date stamp (e.g. "15:21, September 4, 2013" without quotes for Archive #1) for #the last edit before you deleted content (that loads the page as it was before you deleted stuff).
4. Copy the URL (you could combine this with #3 if you know hot to right click copy URL from the link).
5. Edit the current talk page and add the URL as a new entry in the archives table. Just copy the line for archive #1 and fill in the URL, change the archive number, and change the archive date. Done.

MultiUpload

It was unfortunately not compatible with the newest version of MediaWiki, and I haven't been able to get it working. I'm looking into getting a newer (maintained) version working. Unfortunately, it's back to single uploading for now. Sorry about the inconvenience. -- Prod (talk) 01:32, 24 September 2013 (UTC)

I'll see if there are any settings I can mess with to make it more streamlined, but unfortunately the old one was getting a lot more difficult to maintain with each release (no updates in over a year). -- Prod (talk) 03:11, 30 September 2013 (UTC)

If you want to replace an image you will have to do it the normal way by going to the file page, then under the file history is a link labeled "Upload a new version of this file". --Notmyhandle (talk • contribs) 20:01, 5 October 2013 (UTC)

MapleStory/Shields and Off-Hand Weapons

The class-specific items on this page: MapleStory/Shields and Off-Hand Weapons should be moved to the class equipment pages. A note should then be added to the top of the page noting what classes cannot use shields (either because of restrictions or because their off hand is un-removable, like Mihile's shield). That would be a good way to get the class equipment pages started (they are the most common red-linked/non-existent page type at this time). As usual, this is not an order, but my opinion, so if you have any ideas please let me know =) --Notmyhandle (talk • contribs) 04:30, 7 October 2013 (UTC)

Thank you. You are definitely our current MapleStory guide guardian (this is how I think of it). We really appreciate all your help.

Theme Dungeon quest subpaging

The Theme Dungeon page is too long and needs to be sub-paged. I think we should try to move them to the Theme Dungeon pages themselves. If the pages are too big, then we can move them to something like Mushroom Kingdom quests and put a link between parentheses in the Table of Contents.--Notmyhandle (talk • contribs) 05:35, 6 November 2013 (UTC)
