:I've only played the first and a little bit of the second in the series, so I can't really help with the others. For now, I'm just focusing on the first one. I have the battle chip list done minus any typos or mistakes. I also started a rough walkthrough, but I'm not sure how well the layout works. Tedium 02:19, 14 August 2008 (CDT)
Reviews
You should understand that we try to minimize our external links, primarily because we strive to contain all necessary info on this site. For additional, unrelated info, we currently link to Wikipedia if there's an article with expanded info on it. For reviews, our sister site ShouldIPlay.com takes review submissions (if you write one, chances are it will be published so long as it isn't gibberish or explicitly vulgar or something). -- 20:40, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
:I was looking through the featured guides and nominated guides for ideas and noticed that some had similar external links, so I mistakenly assumed they were appropriate. I looked through SW:GUIDE, but didn't see anything mentioned about external links. Thanks for clearing that up. Tedium 04:26, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
::I forgot to add a brief explanation of partnerships: if it becomes beneficial for us to work with another organization, then we'll try and pass visitors from site to site based on what content we contain. In SW:Guide you'll notice the partnerships page that should list all the partnerships we currently have going. Most obvious is our DoubleJump Books partnership, but we also have external wiki partnerships such as with Bulbapedia and the Zelda Wiki. -- 10:38, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
Preload buttons
Remember to always use the 'Guide page' button when creating a new page for a walkthrough. It's beside the 'Main game page' and 'Table of Contents' buttons you used for those pages. 14:06, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia/Enemies attributes images
Could we increase the size of those icons to, say, 32x32 pixels? The art on them is too difficult see at the native 16x16px. -- 18:07, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
: Is 24px good? 32px seems kind of big, but I don't mind either way. Tedium (talk) 20:14, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
::Oh sure, 24 I can actually recognize the difference :P Can you re-size them or should I? -- 02:40, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
:::I can do it since I'll be adding more sprites to the page anyway. Tedium (talk) 18:27, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
Was wondering if you can help me
Hello Tedium my name is Kimble I was wondering if you can help me out with changing the name similar to how you changed Bravely Second to Bravely Second: End Layer these two need there real name Doom 4 to Doom (2016) and Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem to Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE thanks in advance and would you be so kind as to write on my talk page on how to do that. -- RKimble (talk) 01:07, 2 April 2016 (UTC)
Would you be interested in being an Admin?
Hi Tedium.  You've been a very dedicated editor of the site for a rather long time, and the quality of your work is always great quality.  Would you be interested in a promotion to Admin?  You wouldn't necessarily have to take on any extra responsibilities that you didn't want to, but it would give you the opportunity to do so if you liked.  Let me know what you think.  And thanks.  <span style="color:red">Pro</span><span style="color:grey">cyon</span> 00:50, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
:I appreciate the offer, but I would rather stick to adding games and filling in content where I can. Tedium (talk) 18:53, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
::Understood.  Thanks for your dedication, and the high quality of your contributions! <span style="color:red">Pro</span><span style="color:grey">cyon</span> 20:59, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
I've given you the rollbacker permission, so that all your edits are automatically marked as patrolled. It also allows you to patrol edits if you're interested, but don't feel obligated. -- Prod (talk) 01:03, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
:Thanks for the permission. Tedium (talk) 21:41, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
Project X Zone 2 Kouma Heiki Reppu and Offensive Seeker Unit sprites (And others you missed)
Hi, Tedium. I was wondering if you could upload any and all remaining PXZ2 enemy sprites? Starting with the Kouma Heiki Reppu (:File:Kouma_Heiki_Reppu.png) and Offensive Seeker Unit? (:File:Offensive_Seeker_Unit.png) Prod sent me, since I had concerns that the enemy list for the game isn't fully complete. --Macdawgadon (talk) 15:59, 25 December 2020 (UTC)
:I might be able to get the Kouma Heiki Reppu sprite, but I don't have the large sprites that are cutoff. I extracted the sprites from screenshots of the Crosspedia entries. I later found a way to get the full sprite, but I would need to play through the game again to get all of them. Not going to make any promises, but I'll see what I can do. == Ports, remasters, and re-releases ==
Can you please weigh in on StrategyWiki:Staff lounge#Ports, remasters, and re-releases? -- Prod (talk) 00:42, 15 February 2021 (UTC)
Batman: Arkham Knight/Controls
I've merged the two batmobile tables. Feel free to revert if you don't like it. -- Prod (talk) 16:41, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
Achievements
As you seem to be the resident achievement expert, do you think you'd be able to do the achievements for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy and The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles? We've been getting a lot more traffic to these guides with the latest release, so hopefully this would also get a lot of interest. -- Prod (talk) 16:15, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
: I'm not going to add the achievements to the Great Ace Attorney at this time because I don't want to potentially spoil the game when looking up info. Tedium (talk) 14:25, 12 August 2021 (UTC)
Wii U VC controls
A user has been adding sections about VC controls to a few pages. Do you think the content is relevant, and is there a way we can improve the format? Changes so far: , , . -- Prod (talk) 19:37, 26 December 2021 (UTC)
:I don't have a Wii U so I'm not familiar with the control scheme. The first paragraph looks more general than game specific. Maybe move it to :Category:Wii U. Recommended controls can be useful for some games, but I'm not sure how to format it (notwide table?). Tedium (talk) 21:29, 26 December 2021 (UTC)
Contact
Are you able to contact me off-wiki? Perhaps on discord, email or twitter? -- Prod (talk) 03:16, 8 February 2022 (UTC)
: I don't use discord or twitter and would prefer to communicate on the wiki. Tedium (talk) 20:29, 25 February 2022 (UTC)
::I would like to send you a "thank you" for all the great edits you did last year, but would need a confidential way to communicate with you. If you have any other suggestions, please let me know. -- Prod (talk) 23:31, 25 February 2022 (UTC)
Pokémon Picross/Medals
I think that it might be helpful if the medals referring to specific level rewards (25-29) should link to the levels rather than further information about the Pokémon on bulba. I'm also wondering if the unlocked answer Pokémon would be considered a spoiler and should be hidden in a spoiler as part of the description, rather than in the heading. I'm not sure how deep you're expecting to go into this walkthrough, so perhaps we can leave some todo's on the talk page for other editors to consider. -- Prod (talk) 02:19, 17 March 2024 (UTC)
: Linking to the puzzles makes more sense. The headers could just have the puzzle number, "S01-01", and a spoiler template could contain a screenshot and the Pokémon name. I only planned on adding just the missions for each puzzle, but I don't have all of the Alt-World puzzles completed. Tedium (talk) 09:51, 17 March 2024 (UTC)
::I made some updates to Pokémon Picross/Area 01. Serebii says you need to finish all the alt-world missions before you're able to get the "Further Challenge" rewards, so I assume you don't know which specific missions are required to complete them? -- Prod (talk) 22:40, 17 March 2024 (UTC)
::: On my game, the Further Challenges medals have "?" for the name and condition. I did complete those Pokémon puzzles and listed the numbers which matches what Bulbapedia says. I'm not even close to completing every mission in Alt-World so I can't really confirm if the requirements are correct.
