:I'm really relieved you were able to undo what had happened to this. As of now I still have no idea how to delete anything, only how to edit pre-existing things or make new ones. I am not too sure if post is the right word for the part of the page I am speaking of. What is the proper term for the sections that can be individually edited?Zaiqukaj 07:40, 12 June 2007 (CDT) | :I'm really relieved you were able to undo what had happened to this. :::They can be called whatever you want. They are officially called headings, but sections is the more commonly used term. A post is one individual's reply to something. Also, sysops are pretty good at undoing things (we have a rollback feature that reverts every edit by one user on a page), so don't worry about messing things up too badly. It might help if you use "Show Preview" (Note: Show Preview only shows the preview of the section you are editing-if you want it to show the entire page, you have to click on the edit tab on the top). Also, the sandbox is a good place to experiment (don't worry about messing up in the sandbox, that's what it is there for). As for actually deleting things, again only sysops have that ability (click here to see what I mean). --SkizzerzTalk - Contribs 11:20, 12 June 2007 (CDT) | :::They can be called whatever you want. Hi Zaiqukaj! First, thanks so much for your kind words, and thanks even more for all of your hard work around the site, it's very much appreciated as well. As for game engines, you're right, we haven't really spelled out a good template for that kind of contribution. This may be an opportunity to pioneer a new design, which is rare these days. I tend to look to Wikipedia for concept ideas, and then tailor their design to better fit our site. I definitely think game engines are a good category for the site, so that people who like a game made with one particular engine can learn about other games made with the same engine. :We don't have a template like series or company, but you can see "pre-existing examples of some finished engine pages" in :Category:Engines, like Unreal Engine, SCI or PhyreEngine. So far we just copy/paste the basic info out of the Wikipedia article. — <span style="color:#909090;font-variant:small-caps;">Najzere</span> · <span style="color:#993300;font-variant:small-caps;font-weight:normal;">Talk</span> 22:42, 13 July 2012 (UTC) | :We don't have a template like series or company, but you can see "pre-existing examples of some finished engine pages" in :Category:Engines, like Unreal Engine, SCI or PhyreEngine.
