Williams is a low ranking member of the Black Warriors. He wears a tanktop and jeans. His attacks include left or right punches, a body blow and jump kicks. He is known to carry around a baseball bat, a knife, or even sticks of dynamite. Use jump kicks against him, or pick up any weapon he drops and use it against him.
Roper is another member of the Black Warriors who is low on the totem pole. He wears a matching vest and pants, with spiked shoulder pads. His attacks includes left or right punches and jump kicks. He uses the same weapons as Williams, but can also pick up large objects like the oil drums, cardboard boxes, and boulders. Toss those large objects back at him, or better yet, pick them up first before he has a chance to throw them at you.
Like Williams and Roper, Linda is a lower ranking member of the Black Warriors. However, as the lone female in the gang, she commands a lot of respect, and she does it by lashing her powerful whip. Without her whip, she can deliver powerful punches, but with the whip in hand, she's a danger that must be dealt with carefully. The whip doesn't have as good range as the bat, but it does more damage.
Abobo is one of the largest and strongest members of the Black Warriors. He is so strong, he is capable of slapping men down to the ground with a single blow. He is a formidable challenge, and you must face them very carefully. If two of them every appear together, never allow yourself to be caught in the middle!
Jeff from the arcade version is replaced with Chintai in the NES version. Particularly handy with a blade, Chintai is extremely well-practiced in the martial arts. He combines great speed with considerable reach to successfully strike before Billy can get close enough to attack. He can withstand a good deal of damage, and will often toss Billy aside if Billy tries to sit down on them before Chintai has become too weak to fight back.
Willy is the leader of the Black Warriors. He is the one who orders Marian captured, and keeps her hostage in his base. Armed with a machine gun, his attacks includes gun fire, a kick and a swing of his gun's butt. If a single bullet hits Billy, he will lose a considerable amount of life, if he even survives at all. Willy is no push over, and you'll have to fight for your very life if you wish to save Marian. Willy is the only combatant who is not available in Mode B of the game.
Billy's brother Jimmy disappeared shortly before Marian was kidnapped. No one seems to know just what happened to Jimmy. Could he have been captured as well? Or were the rumors of his affection for Marian true? Could he have orchestrated the kidnapping in an act of revenge against his own brother? Billy will have to take on the Black Warriors, and take down Willy all by himself to find out the truth about his brother once and for all.
