If you choose story mode, your party consists of the following five characters.
Highlander[edit]
The Highlander is the main protagonist and the role you play as. He does not have an official name so you have to pick one. He is sent to Etria to investigate the anomalies that have been occurring.
Frederica Irving[edit]
Frederica is a amnesiac girl found asleep in a capsule in the ruins. She is a gunner.
Simon Yorke[edit]
Simon is a medic and the leader of an investigation team from the Midgard Library. He is very knowledgeable of the labyrinth's monsters and ancient civilizations.
Raquna Sheldon[edit]
Raquna is a protector in the Midgard Library investigation team. She is from a royal family though she is easygoing. She frequently suggests visiting the local pub.
Arthur Clarke[edit]
Arthur is an alchemist and a member of the investigation team. He is quick to rush into battle without thought.
In story mode, the following characters are in your party for just the first mission.
Ren[edit]
Ren is a ronin from the far east. She is skilled warrior with a blade.
Tlachtga[edit]
Tlachtga is a hexer. She can control living beings with her voice.
