Day 1[edit]

The Ha-Ha Brothers: Sena's current bullies

After Sena talks about what's going on for a bit, he goes off to school. After class, you'll be able to play as him in the classroom. You can talk to two other classmates and the teacher. After you're finished talking, walk towards the right of the classroom (facing the board) where two doorways will be on either side of the wall. These doorways are blocked, however, by two Ha-Ha Brothers: Kazuki Jumonji, the light-haired leader of the group, is blocking the exit near the board. Koji Kuroki, the dark-haired one, is blocking the exit near the back wall. Shozo Togano, the third Ha-Ha Brother, is standing between the doorways at the desks. Talk to him if you'd like before talking to the others. Talk to either Jumonji or Kuroki to trigger a scene: the Ha-Ha Brothers push you aside and leave the classroom. Follow them out and go up the hallway until you reach a staircase labeled "4F". Keep walking down the staircases until you reach "1F" - you're now on the first floor. Go down the hallway until you reach the lockers. You can keep going after the lockers if you want to talk to Mamori Anezaki, Sena's childhood friend, but go on past the lockers to be given three options. The first option will take you outside the school building. The second option will take you to the field. The third option will take you to the headquarters of the Deimon Devil Bats, the school's American football team.

Run wherever the arrow tells you to.

Go to the team headquarters and you'll meet up with the three Ha-Ha Brothers once again. Sena is terrified, so the Ha-Ha Brothers take the chance to threaten him into buying lunch for them. Sena quickly darts for the school building to get their lunch with incredible speed, much to the surprise of the Brothers. After he gets back inside the school building, a mini-game will commence. There will be three maps: the first two with yellow marks and the last with the finish line. Keep running towards the yellow marks (located where the staircases are) until you hit the last map. The green mark is where the cutscene will start - Sena runs past Yoichi Hiruma, the quarterback and tactician of the Deimon Devil Bats, who is impressed with Sena's speed. Sena will then make it to the lunch line with another of the Devil Bats - this time the tackler of the team, Ryokan Kurita - right behind him.

After he gets the lunch, Sena runs back to the Ha-Ha Brothers. They leave and the scene switches to Sena being talked to by Mamori. After she tells Sena to stay away from Hiruma, the scene will switch once again to Sena's bedroom. After he recounts the events of Day 1, the day will end and Day 2 will begin.

Day 2[edit]

The day will start with Sena outside the school building. Walk up the sidewalk a little and you'll bump into Ryokan Kurita. Talk to him and he'll tell Sena a bit about American football. After the talk, Sena will end up in the classroom once again after class. Same as yesterday, the Ha-Ha Brothers are blocking the doorways. Talk to either one again and they will exit, pushing Sena out of the way. Walk out of the classroom and Sena will walk to the same spot as before, with the Ha-Ha Brothers ready to threaten Sena again. The same events will follow, with the three Brothers making Sena get their lunch. Sena will rush into the building and the mini-game will start.

The mini-game is the same as last time - run to where the yellow arrows tell you to and you'll make it to the lunch line. Once again, Hiruma will see Sena's speed and take note of it. After talking to Kurita on the lunch line again, Sena will hurry back to the Brothers with their lunch. They will leave and Mamori will speak with Sena outside school, putting Day 2 to an end.

Day 3[edit]

This time, Mamori will be outside the school where Kurita was yesterday. After talking to her, you'll be in the classroom with the Ha-Ha Brothers blocking the way once more. The routine should be clear by now - talk to one of the Brothers and they will leave, follow them out and the scene will show the Brothers waiting for Sena. This time, however, Kuroki kicks Sena. Instead of making him get their lunch again, the Ha-Ha Brothers decide it's time to beat Sena up. They kick him into the nearby shed and begin beating him up there. That's when, by Sena's luck, Kurita comes into the shed and onto the scene. Kurita, recognizing Sena, immediately comes to his defense. They all try to tackle him with no luck, and he pushes them back. Though he didn't mean as much harm as he had done, the Ha-Ha Brothers are scared away and run off elsewhere.

After talking to Kurita about the Deimon Devil Bats and how he'd like to be manager, Sena ends up in the classroom again. The room is completely empty - the Ha-Ha Brothers are nowhere to be seen. Go down to the first floor and threw the lockers for your options. If you go to the same spot as always, they won't be there either. Instead, click the first option, which takes you outside the school. They'll be waiting for you there, angrier with Sena than on the other days. The angry group surround the terrified Sena, and this will bring you into the next mini-game. This time, you'll be running through the streets instead of the school building - and the Ha-Ha Brothers will be chasing you.

This one is a bit tougher than the previous mini-game, but it still shouldn't be too hard. Instead of paying attention to the two Brothers on your tail, try to pay attention to the top screen. Watching the map will keep you from bumping into walls and getting cornered. You may want to glance at the bottom screen once in a while though - a civilian here and there can make a frustrating obstacle. After you run for a while, Hiruma will once again comment on Sena's skills. After running the rest of the path, you'll bump into the last Ha-Ha Brother, Togano. He's there to block your way, and you'll have to dodge him. You can choose between two circles representing paths that Sena can use to dodge the block. Choose the lower circle and you should see the "Good!" comment. After Sena dodges the block, the two Ha-Ha Brothers that were chasing you will bump into the third one, sending all three crashing. After seeing this performance by Sena, Hiruma is positive that the Devil Bats need him as a running back. And with that, Day 3 comes to an end.

Day 4[edit]

At the start of the fourth day, Sena hurries to school and is relieved to find that the Ha-Ha Brothers are nowhere to be seen. Unfortunately, it's not all good for Sena - Hiruma ambushes him from behind. Hiruma and Kurita then take Sena to the same shed the Ha-Ha Brothers tried to beat him up in, which happens to be the Devil Bats Headquarters. After explaining the situation, Hiruma unties Sena and gives him his new football outfit - he makes Sena join the Devil Bats under the codename "Eyeshield 21" referencing his new headgear and number. The eyeshield guarantees the ability that Sena's identity stay safe - as far as anyone else is concerned, the identity of Eyeshield 21 will remain a mystery. Sena doesn't want to join the team, and Hiruma threatens him with a gun. Fearing death, Sena readily accepts the position of running back for the Devil Bats.

After this event, Sena will be back in his school uniform and in the classroom. Exit the classroom and go down to the first floor again. Head through the lockers and to the exit. Choose the third option this time - the Devil Bats headquarters - and you'll be greeted by the Ha-Ha Brothers. They are still unhappy with him. As they begin to speak, Hiruma comes along and a mini-game will start. Finally, you get some action on the field, albeit minor. All you'll have to do is run from the starting position straight ahead to the finish line, following Kurita's and Hiruma's examples. After some talk between the three team members, a vicious-looking dog comes along. This dog happens to be Hiruma's pet, Cerberus. This next mini-game will involve Cerberus chasing after you - do the same routine, but this time with a vicious dog chasing you. To win this, try a new ability - slide Stylus button across the screen to make Sena run faster. Keep sliding it and Sena will run faster than ever. Hiruma is thoroughly impressed with Sena's new time. After the mini-games, Day 4 will come to a close.

Day 5[edit]

Good timing is key.

Start your day by walking to the school entrance and speaking to Mamori. After this, Sena will come on to the football field, where Hiruma and Kurita have a new challenge planned for Sena. This mini-game will be about tackling. All that's needed here though is good timing. Try to tackle at the right time - when the power bar is at its highest - for a successful tackle. Perform a successful tackle three times and the mini-game will be ended. After Sena finishes practice with it, Kurita will try to tackle and break it. Practice will be ended and it's back to the classroom now.

Go down to the first floor and walk down the hall until you see an explanation point. Sena will stop and see Kurita trying to get people to join the Devil Bats with no luck. He'll leave. Follow him out through the exit and choose the third option again. Go into the headquarters and talk to him a bit. Leave the headquarters and the day will end.
