Each weapon can be used by many characters, but there is a penalty on its attack value if the character class is not appropriate. Although there are some exceptions, in general the penalty is a fixed percentage depending on the weapon type.
- For example, if Meisia the Priestess is equipped with a staff, she will get the full (100%) attack bonus granted by that weapon; but if she is equipped with a knife, Meisia will only benefit from 60% of the knife attack bonus.
Most weapons can be infused with an Ark. The Light Ark and the Fire Ark double the attack power of the weapon; a weapon infused with the Darkness Ark paralyzes any enemy it hits.

- H = the Hero, either Remeer or Ferris
- N = the Ninja, Tokio
- O = the Ogre, Kamiwoo
- W = the Witch, Miriene
- P = the Priestess, Meisia
- G = the Grappler, Reeshine
- T = the Tetsu-jin, Lux

Grappler nunchakus and boomerangs[edit]
Reeshine the Grappler can effectively fight with her karate (Japanese for "bare hands") at the beginning of the game. Nunchakus and boomerangs are the last weapon types that are found in the game.
Reeshine is the only character who can effectively use Nunchakus, but they cannot be infused with any Ark. The boomerangs (and the Cutter), instead, can be infused with the Ark of Light; the latter ones can be used at full power by Tokio, too. If you want Reeshine to use the Ark of Fire, you can equip her with a bow, although she will get only 70% of the attack bonus.
