After the success of Need for Speed Underground, they expand on this game by giving you an open world to travel around. It's also the first time a model Brooke Burke playing Rachael in this game. The new race additions is Street X and Downhill Drift. Even though your goal is to win races, you also have to earn a lot of reputations, upgrade both visual and the engine of your car and race through all the racetracks you'll find in your career. To even earn more cash, you can also go through the contracts by racing from one end to the other within the time limit.
