NeoGeo Land is separated into two sections: a downstairs and an upstairs. You arrive downstairs. While there is a lot of activity in the room, there are only a few things you can interact with.

  • Take and Mika (highlighted in yellow) stand together in the upper left corner of the arcade. They can both be challenged to a 2000 hit point, 3 card reward battle.
  • In the upper right corner, one kid is playing a game of King of Fighters '98. If you talk with him, he'll let you challenge him to a match. While you can't actually play the game, the background music will change to the Psycho Soldier music typically heard when Athena's team plays.

To get to the real action, you'll need to head upstairs. Climb either staircase to reach the second floor. You'll see a crowd assembled around a Card Fighters Clash table near the top of the room.

  • Seated at the table are Nonaka, Keiko (both highlighted in yellow) and Harumi (highlighted in green). Harumi is the boss of NeoGeo Land. To challenge her to a duel, you must first beat Nonaka and Keiko in standard 2000 hit point battles. Once you do this, you will be able to challenge Harumi for her coin in a 3000 hit point battle.
  • One member in the crowd will speak with you about how much they love King. If you have a King card to spare, they will trade your King card for the S rank action card Roulette (which happens to feature King on the artwork.)

After beating the game[edit]

While almost nothing changes in NeoGeo Land after you beat the game, it turns out that many of the players who fight here become very specialized in the rewards they provide for beating them. Defeating each of the following characters here will result in them giving you rewards that are exclusively in a particular series of cards (excluding any action cards awarded):

  • Take - Fatal Fury series and Art of Fighting series
  • Mika - Capcom Arcade Universe series
  • Nonaka - King of Fighters series
  • Harumi - Samurai Shodown series

Additionally, Mask can also be found upstairs from time to time. Defeat him multiple times to obtain exclusive cards.
