NGP SvC CFC Capcom.PNG

Plaza Capcom is a building on whose lobby is an arcade house dedicated to Capcom, as the name suggests. It is located on the west side of Osaka, and players here mainly use Capcom characters. Like The Lost World, it is split into two halves.

The left side mostly contains people to speak with. Some give hints about the game, while others just chat about various Capcom properties. There are two features that you can interact with.

  • If you are playing the Capcom version of the game, the lower left crane game will be operational. If you are playing the SNK version, this one will be broken, but the machine in Joy Joy will function. You can only obtain one card between every CPU based battle.
  • A girl with pink hair sits at one of the arcade machines close to the top of the room. If you speak with her, she will ask you to trade a Chun-Li card in exchange for a Terry card. While Chun-Li's NGPC SvC CFC Ability Triangle.pngSpinning Bird Kick ability is quite useful under the right conditions, Terry is a great card with twice as many BP as Chun-Li. Once you conduct this trade, she will offer to play against you on the arcade machine. While you can't actually play against her, if you sit down on the machine opposite her and accept the challenge, you will be treated to a rendition of Chun-Li's background music.

The right side is where more of the action takes place.

  • Along the bottom of the room, three players are seated at two different Card Fighters Clash tables. From left to right, they are Saki, Yuki and Aki (each highlighted in yellow). All three can be spoken with to initiate a normal 2000 hit point, 3 card reward battle.
  • Only after you have defeated all three women below, may you climb the steps and challenge Kana (highlighted in fuchsia). Kana represents the voice actress who has performed as Chun-Li, and she is even dressed like Chun-Li. She is the boss of Capcom Plaza, and the battle against her is a 3000 hit point, 5 card reward battle. Once she is defeated, she will hand the Plaza Capcom coin. Additionally, after you beat Kana the first time, your rival will show up and also challenge you to a 3000 hit point match.
  • Finally, there are a line of slot machines in this room. Any of them can be approached. If you decide to use one, you must select a D rank card in your collection to sacrifice. Once you do, the reels will begin to spin. When you press a button one reel will stop, from left to right. If you succeed in getting the same symbol three times, you will receive a reward of multiples of the same card you selected. The number of cards you receive is determined by the symbol, as detailed in the table to the right. While this may seem a bit impractical, it can be an excellent source of cards to exchange in the Trading Machines.

After beating the game[edit]

Very little changes in Capcom Plaza after you beat the game, with one notable exception: you may find Mask sitting at the slot machine farthest to the right. You can speak with him to initiate a battle with the hopes of defeating him enough times to earn the rare cards only he possesses.

Additionally, if you are in particular need of Darkstalker cards to fill out your collection, challenge Kana. After beating the game, she will only reward you with cards from the Darkstalker series.
