Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello DorTheGamer! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or hang out in IRC, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the community portal talk page. Please remember to sign your name on, and only on, talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- DrBob (talk) 08:11, 10 February 2008 (CST)

Re: {{Main}}[edit]

I watch Special:Recentchanges quite frequently, so I generally know when stuff happens. As for the wiki syntax used for that, there has always been issues with using pipes inside of template calls/parser functions, so templates like {{!}} were created to circumvent that downfall. Frequently visiting and editing various wikis will help you learn tips and tricks on markup and syntax, and asking for help whenever you need it is also a good idea. Let me know if you have any questions, etc. :) (if so, I'm on IRC pretty much every waking hour that I can be connected to the internet with) --Skizzerz (talk · contribs) 15:38, 28 May 2008 (CDT)

Thanks[edit]

Thank you for the information :) DorTheGamer 15:44, 28 May 2008 (CDT)

Thanks for alphabetizing the Complete List of monsters. I removed the cleanup tag. I was about to update it, I'll keep it alphabetized.--IsaacGS 17:07, 30 May 2008 (CDT)
No problem :) I used Word to do it. :D

Main template unnecessary[edit]

There is little use for this template, as we do not operate under the same hierarchical system as Wikipedia. Only video games themselves may serve as main articles on StrategyWiki, and the articles can simply be hyperlinked to than to use this template. I will start a thread on the community forum to discuss it's candidacy for deletion. Procyon (Talk) 18:03, 28 May 2008 (CDT)

This should be discussed on the relevant [[Template talk:Main|talk page]] page. It is not a community issue. -- Prod (Talk) 22:53, 28 May 2008 (CDT)

Mega Man Star Force[edit]

Since Dragon, Lion, and Pegasus rely on essentially the same walkthrough with minor variations, the guides should be kept together as one walkthrough instead of three distinct walkthroughs which would add a lot of redundant content to the site. Just as with the Pokémon games, slight variant editions of the same games are grouped together, with version discrepancies indicated in the walkthrough where ever necessary. Procyon (Talk) 15:58, 27 June 2008 (CDT)

I understand. Okay, I will check thing more throughoutly and see whether I should restore it. DorTheGamer 16:35, 27 June 2008 (CDT)
