General Reshiram's Talk Page

Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello General Reshiram! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide or visit the IRC channel to chat, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the forums. To keep up-to-date with the goings on of the wiki, consider adding the noticeboard to your watchlist.

Please remember to sign your name when leaving comments on talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! — Procyon 20:16, 22 June 2011 (UTC)

About me and Images![edit]

I want to upload more images. May I please upload images from other websites?

We generally discourage uploading images unless they are intended for fair-use, and specifically relate to a particular guide that you are working on. You can upload one personal user image, as you have already done, but please don't add anymore than that unless they have significance to the entire StrategyWiki site. While you are free to put whatever you want on your user page, having a pokedex which by in large is a duplicate of our Pokédex is a bit wasteful, and we would kindly ask that you remove it if you have no specific reason to keep it there. While we're on the subject of images, please read the following note below as well. Procyon 20:16, 22 June 2011 (UTC)

Image uploads[edit]

Please see our policy on image naming and categorization. For consistency and ease of use throughout the wiki, image names should contain the name of the game or its abbreviation and a one or two word description. All images also need the appropriate categories added, as well as the guide-specific image category (e.g. [[Category:Game Name images]]). Thanks for helping to keep our images neat! — Procyon 20:16, 22 June 2011 (UTC)

No rumored content[edit]

Do not put information on pages concerning rumored and unconfirmed releases unless you are prepared to provide some sort of proof of the existence, or at least an official announcement, of what you are talking about. I'm not sure what your intentions are on this wiki, but we prefer contributors who provide useful walkthrough content or factual game information. So far, you have provided neither. Pokemon Template[edit]

On {{Pokémon}}, they're meant to be grouped logically, not by release date, so Emerald is placed with Ruby and Sapphire, which is why I undid your changes. -- Prod (Talk) 17:39, 4 August 2011 (UTC)
