Taken from a wiki I admin:
In order to link to Wikipedia articles properly, don't add the actual link, use wikipedia:article to link directly to Wikipedia articles. Same goes to Wikitokyo articles, it's WT:article.
I do wish you guys would allow something like that for "lesser known" gaming platforms, like the Tiger Game.com I tried to link like that (I figured it was a feature of Mediawiki) to wikipedia. I doubt the Game.com platform is worth a huge mention in any of SW, which is why I tried to link the wikipedia article.
But, I don't know your thoughts on that, so...
Also, thanks to DrBob for finding that template I couldn't find. You guys call it something else. =/ --Sekoku 14:51, 4 June 2006 (PDT)
Apparently, you guys are trying to strike a deal with Bulbapedia. After that's done, I guess I'll start to markup the pokemon terminology (if they have it). If that falls through... well, someone else will have to take up that job. :o --Sekoku 22:56, 30 September 2006 (CDT)
Of course, he keeps putting them in "artwork" even after you told him to stop doing that. :| Fixed them. But you might want to smack some sense into him, please. --Sekoku 21:23, 30 September 2006 (CDT)
I need to tell you Sekoku, I didn't get DrBob's message until the next day. I know that I need to improve upon my image skills, and that everyone is getting frustrated with with me and shoveling out warnings, and I am getting better, but please have a little patience. I don't have very much experience at uploading images. 0-172 14:16, 1 October 2006 (CDT)
Fixed. If you have any problems, post on StrategyWiki:Staff lounge and you should get a fairly quick answer. -- Prod 13:40, 5 October 2006 (CDT)
I'm going to be cleaning this guide up, I'm not sure if you're the original author but just letting you know if you're interested. -- Mason11987 (Talk - Contributions) 21:52, 7 October 2006 (CDT)
NPOV stands for Neutral Point Of View. This is the standard way of writing for Strategy Wiki. An example of the incorrect way of writing on SW is: "Imentioned earlier that so-and-so did such-and-such". This is not the way to write. The correct way to write is: "It was mentioned earlier that so-and-so did such-and-such". This is because Strategy Wiki wants to be inclusive to all people wanting to edit an article. If an article says "I" a lot and the person editing isn't that "I", then it feels awkward impersonating an "I". Therefore, your contributions to the Pokémon battling sections were incorrectly written, and I must say, no offense, that wikifying a page without a NPOV is a real pain. So please remember this in the future, and it would be much appreciated if you'd help wikify some pages without a NPOV. Thank you. Myth 19:26, 9 June 2007 (CDT)
