Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- Prod (Talk) 06:21, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Image Categories[edit]

Please remember to categorize images when you upload them, using (for example):

I noticed you tried to categorize a few of them, but missed the brackets ( ). See Guide/Images for more information. Also Image naming may be useful.

Thanks for contributing. --~Vizeroth~-- 22:49, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

No problem. I went through and added the appropriate categories to all of the Fallout 3 Achievement images you put up, just wanted to prevent anyone else from having to do the same later, as it's much easier to input the information for the images as you upload them. In the future if you have any questions, feel free to ask, or ask one of the Admins. --~Vizeroth~-- 02:08, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

Image names[edit]

Please make sure to include the game name in image names when you upload images. For example, "Image:Army of Two Boots on the Ground.jpg" instead of "Image:Boots on the Ground.jpg". Doing this means we reduce the likelihood of images from two different games having the same name and colliding, so to speak. Thank you, and happy editing! --DrBob (talk) 13:26, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

I've fixed the names of the images you just uploaded, just make sure not to do it again. :-) --DrBob (talk) 13:29, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

The above images need new names and the category tags need to be fixed You might also want to add them to the game's image category, so we have a better idea of where they go when things like this happen. Thanks --~Vizeroth~-- 20:22, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Table of Contents[edit]

The ToC page automatically inserts the Walkthrough and Getting Started pages for a reason - namely because they're both essential pages for any guide. If you have to boot up a system, the game uses controls or requires the player to perform an action to begin playing, then you can put something on the Getting Started page. If nothing else, you can put the controls on the Getting Started page and not use a Controls page. The Walkthough is linked to from the Header Nav on every page of the guide as well as in the Continue Nav on the main page. This page doesn't have to contain any walkthrough material, but can just be an overview of how the walkthrough will proceed or any information that is applicable across all walkthrough pages. In addition to these reasons, we also keep these links for standardization across the wiki. For more information, consult the Guide. Thanks, - najzere 17:45, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

Bulleted lists[edit]

Please don't use bullets for paragraph and prose formatting. They're for lists. To put a blank line between two paragraphs, use two newline/carriage returns (press enter twice). Thanks, - najzereT 17:19, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Box artwork[edit]

The box art in the infobox is set at 250px wide, so please don't upload anything drastically smaller or it looks like crap when it gets expanded on main pages. Thanks, - najzereT 15:14, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
