Forty summons appear in Dissidia. Summons can be equipped prior to fighting and are represented by red orbs over the player's health bar. Some summons have two appearances: one for their "Auto" version, and one for their normal version. The "Auto" version acts on a condition, usually a Brave Break or HP Attack, while normal versions must be triggered by pressing Circle and R. The normal version is more powerful than the "Auto" one when numerical values are at stake.
Ifrit
When used, Ifrit increases the summoner's Brave by 1.5 times. It appears automatically when the user breaks the opponent's Brave, and manually. Ifrit's auto version can be obtained in the third stage of the Destiny Odyssey I storyline, and its manual version can be obtained in the second stage of the Destiny Odyssey I storyline.
Shiva
Shiva's auto summon casts diamond dust when an enemy uses an HP attack on you. It causes the enemy's BP to be reduced to zero for a certain amount of time.
Ramuh
When used Ramuh will stop the generation of BRV of the opponent for a very short time.
Carbuncle
When used, Carbuncle copies the opponent's bravery with your current bravery. Automatically uses when your bravery reaches zero.
Magic Pot
When used, copies your opponent's bravery. Automatically uses when opponent's bravery is 3 times your bravery's base value.
Deamon Wall
Magus Sisters
Delta Attack, when used it halves your opponent's bravery. Automatically uses when your opponent has triple their bravery base value.
Odin
When used there is a 50% chance of inflicting break on your opponent.
Phoenix
Alexander
Leviathan
Bahamut
Automatically activates when bravery is 50% or lower. Bravery quickly begins increasing by 20.
