Here are the controls for the Wii. The control schemes is similar to Super Smash Bros Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, Mortal Kombat Armageddon and Need for Speed: Undercover.

You can hold it with the wii remote pointing at the screen, hold wii remote sideways with the wii wheel, wii remote and nunchuk, classic controller and gamecube controller. Also if you're learning the ropes, turn "Steering Assist" on so you won't end up having steering trouble.

Wii Remote

Hold the Wii Remote pointed straight at the Sensor Bar.

  • Steer: Twist Wii Remote Left/Right (Drag Mode can also use Left dpad/Right dpad)
  • Accelerate: A button
  • Brake/Reverse/Drift: B button (Would not drift in Drag Mode)
  • Shift gears up/down: Shake Remote button/Down dpad (Only in Drag Mode)
  • Nitro: Shake Remote button, twice for double nitro (Drag Mode in top gear)
  • Use pick-up: Down dpad
  • Look back: Up dpad
  • Reset car: Minus button
  • Pause game: Plus button

Wii Wheel (or just the Wii Remote hold sideways)

Hold the Wii Remote up and horizontally like a steering wheel, with or without the Wii Wheel accessory.

  • Steer: Turn left/right
  • Accelerate: 2 button
  • Brake/Reverse/Drift: 1 button or B button (B button only use in Drag Mode and won't be able to drift)
  • Shift gears up/down: Up dpad/Down dpad (Only in Drag Mode)
  • Nitro: A button, twice for double nitro (Drag Mode in top gear)
  • Use pick-up: Up dpad
  • Look back: Down dpad (1 button for Drag Mode)
  • Reset car: Minus button
  • Pause game: Plus button

Wii Remote with Nunchuk

Make sure you connect your nunchuk to your wii remote before you start with this control scheme.

  • Steer: Neutral nunchuk
  • Accelerate: A button
  • Brake/Reverse/Drift: B button (Would not drift in Drag Mode)
  • Shift gears up/down: Z button/C button (Only in Drag Mode)
  • Nitro: Shake Remote button, twice for double nitro (Drag Mode in top gear)

Classic Controller
