I see you've been uploading a few images lately. When doing so, could you please make sure to name them properly? The image policy is viewable [[StrategyWiki:Guide/Image naming|here]], and contains all the information you'll need to name future uploads. --{{User:Ryan Schmidt/sig}} 09:59, 1 August 2007 (CDT)

:Also, when putting the extension (like .png) on images, make sure that the images are actually in that format. For example, all of the uploads today that you did had the .png in the name, but were really .gif. Please make sure to name them properly in the future. Thank you. --{{User:Ryan Schmidt/sig}} 14:05, 10 August 2007 (CDT)

::Um, yeah that's the chart I was talking about. [[Talk:MapleStory#Templates]] is a list of all the templates. If you look at [[Template:MapleStory/Versions/Areas]], that's the town availability, and so on. It can be a bit confusing to attempt to edit at first, just make sure you preview your edits so that you aren't messing up the table and/or are editing the right thing. What really confuses me is that you edited the talk page for one of those templates, which means you must have visited it before. O_O--[[User:IsaacGS|IsaacGS]] 15:29, 17 August 2007 (CDT)

:The Amoria Dungeon Extension is likely to come out in at least ThailandMS, because they have the first map, so it seems possible. On the other hand, you've got this wild card of KMS, where if they get Amoria PQ, it will need to be accessible from the town, not the dungeon area, so that's fairly separated. It's also reasonable to think that the Extension could come without the PQ area.--[[User:IsaacGS|IsaacGS]] 17:08, 17 August 2007 (CDT)

But still APQ it's not Exclusive PQ for GMS....
it will be go the APQ in Maple SEA because they want that people will be marry.--[[User:Ofir38|Ofir38]] 04:19, 18 August 2007 (CDT)
:There's nothing to point to that, yet. I can't even find any proof that they will be getting the dungeon area at all...--[[User:IsaacGS|IsaacGS]] 13:21, 18 August 2007 (CDT)
::That system is very old, it's been in KMS and SEA for over a year. It's not important enough to warrant a separate box, and more than likely it won't be going to any other versions. If you want to add something to the chart other than "yes" or "no", you need to bring it up with other people unless it's obviously important (like a new town.)--[[User:IsaacGS|IsaacGS]] 14:33, 18 August 2007 (CDT)

== Content Tone. ==

Keep in mind when you are adding things to page (for example, the Monster Carnival info.) that we are trying for a professional tone and a uniform format. When editing in this new info, try to keep in shape with the other content on the page. The Monster Carnival section was in a totally different tone and didn't conform the existing format used for the other Party quests. Do not use phrases like "pictures Soon" or emoticons ("^^") in your edits, and also avoid using first person, and second person where possible (I or you). Let me give an example of how a new PQ section should go:
::<nowiki>==Name of the Party Quest==</nowiki>
:<nowiki>The ______ PQ is a Party Quest from (Whatever version)MS. A party of (How many people are needed to enter the PQ) is needed, as long as they are all over the level of (Level requirements go here). The time limit is __ minutes (or hours, depending on the Quest). . An NPC named (Name of the NPC you need to click on) is located in (Name of the Area the PQ is from) lets you inside. It is currently only available in (list the versions where it is available). </nowiki>

:So, next time you want to add something like that, try to keep it in a format similar to this. Ideally, someone reading our  guide should think that only one person wrote the entire thing, and not be able to tell where one person's edits end and another's begins.--[[User:IsaacGS|IsaacGS]] 15:12, 18 August 2007 (CDT)

== eMS DOES have Guild BBS. ==

They do have it.
You need to join a guild to see it. [[User:Hurricane|Hurricane]] 07:19, 19 August 2007 (CDT)
And it's my first private message, I hope I sent it okay.

== KMS content ==

I don't see why that would be necessary, for a few reasons. Number 1, the vast majority of the game is created in Korea. As far as the other versions go, the only things they are 100% guaranteed to ''Eventually'' get are from Korea. So, simply knowing that the game was created in Korea (which is documented on the first page of the guide, and also common knowledge for most people.) should be sufficient. Number 2, going through and adding an "exclusive" flag to everything that was in KoreaMS would be tedious an unnecessary, and leaving a note at the bottom instead also seems unnecessary (As stated in my first point.) lastly, I think the fact that the only column with a "Yes" in it would make who invented it rather self-explanatory. :p--[[User:IsaacGS|IsaacGS]] 15:22, 19 October 2007 (CDT)
:You forgot the opening of the table, it is supposed to start with '''{|class="wikitable"''' to create the table.--[[User:IsaacGS|IsaacGS]] 12:15, 5 November 2007 (CST)

== Icons ==

Just because you can't see those icons in Global or EuropeMS doesn't mean that they aren't real. They're found in KMS, and they're passively present in GMS's data even now. It's better to go ahead and use the unique icons than to have 500 stupid ??? icons for no reason.--[[User:IsaacGS|IsaacGS]] 22:06, 3 July 2008 (CDT)
But in your icons there is a X on them ><.
anyway why we cant use this one on them?

[[User:Ofir38|Ofir38]] 02:34, 4 July 2008 (CDT)
::Well, for one that's not right, if there's a custom, unique icon for it it's better to use that. You really can't see them? I wonder if anyone else is having this problem. I'll try uploading them again later, there may be something wrong.--[[User:IsaacGS|IsaacGS]] 22:25, 4 July 2008 (CDT)
