Hey EW! Yeah, absolutely, there can definitely be exceptions, especially when the game undergoes significant changes in the localization process. Basically, the rule is a guideline when there isn't any clear reason to choose one title over another, or when the English title is so much more well known than the original Japanese title, that we're concerned about our guide showing up in search engine results. All that being said, you are a respected authority on this site, so if your better judgement is to go with the Japanese title, that's good enough for me as far as I'm concerned. Someone else could always argue against it, but that's unlikely and we can deal with it if that happens.
