When you approach the pond and peer in, you will receive a message. This is the Fountain of Happiness where travelers throw Rupees into the water in hopes of receiving a prize. When you finally throw 100 Rupees into the pond, a Faerie will appear and offer to give you the capacity to carry more Bombs or Arrows.
