Another correction; it seems I forgot to update the part about the second purple-suited gangster to account for the fact they are not indestructible
(Correction; it is actually possible to kill the purple-suited gangsters by throwing a shuriken at them on all stages of the game where they show up)

Line 6: Line 6:
Once you have stabbed the mutant five times (or thrown five shurikens at him) to kill him for 1000 points and five extra shurikens, ten more light-green-uniformed soldiers will come running towards you from both sides of the screen; once you've killed all of them, five more dark-green-uniformed soldiers will come running towards you from the left side of the screen and fire a shot at you. Once you've crouched down and killed all of them, four more light-green-uniformed soldiers will come running towards you from both sides of the screen - and after you've killed all of them a ninth dark-green-uniformed soldier and five teal-uniformed ones (who, unlike the ones on the first stage, can also perform flying kicks) will come running towards you from the right side of the screen (with a non-attacking dark-green-uniformed commander), while three more light-green-uniformed soldiers come running towards you from both sides of the screen. If you do not kill all ten of these enemies quickly enough, the commander shall order ''Retreat!'' from the Yamaha YM-2610 and any survivors (including the commander himself) shall run back off the right side of the screen; eleven more light-green-uniformed soldiers will now come running towards you from both sides of the screen. Once you have killed all of them, two more dark-green-uniformed soldiers shall come running towards you from both the screen's sides and fire a shot at you - and after you crouch down and kill them both, two hunchbacked mutants shall appear in front of you (and like the ones on the first stage, every hit you manage to land on them will be indicated by them hissing from the Yamaha YM-2610).

Once you have stabbed both these mutants five times (or thrown five shurikens at both of them) to kill them (their deaths are also worth ten more extra shurikens), four more attack dogs (which, unlike those on the first stage and at the start of this one, can jump) will come running towards you from both sides of the screen; once you've killed all of these, a twelfth dark-green-uniformed soldier and two more teal-uniformed ones will come running towards you from the screen's right side, along with a second dark-green-uniformed commander (another purple-suited gangster shall also emerge from behind another building and fire off an infinite amount of shots at you before ducking behind the building again after you get close enough to him). Again, if you don't kill all four of the destructible enemies quickly enough, the commander will order ''Retreat!'' from the Yamaha YM-2610 and any survivors (including the commander himself) shall run back off the screen's right side - and three more teal-uniformed soldiers will then come running towards you from the right side of the screen. Once you've killed all of these, twenty-one more light-green-uniformed soldiers will come running towards you, from both sides of the screen; once you kill all of them, two more dark-green-uniformed soldiers will come running towards you from both sides of the screen and fire a shot at you. Once you have crouched down and killed both of these, three more light-green-uniformed soldiers will come running towards you from the right side of the screen - and once you've killed all of these, two more dark-green-uniformed soldiers will come running towards you from both sides of the screen and fire a shot at you. Once you have crouched down and killed both of them twelve more light-green-uniformed soldiers will come running towards you from both sides of the screen; once you have killed all of them, a seventeenth dark-green-uniformed soldier and two more teal-uniformed ones will come running into view from the right side of the screen, along with a third dark-green-uniformed commander. Once again, if you don't kill off all four of these enemies quickly enough, the commander shall order ''Retreat!'' from the Yamaha YM-2610 and any survivors (including the commander himself) will run back off the right side of the screen - and three more teal-uniformed soldiers will now come running towards you from the right side of the screen. Once you have killed all of them another tank will start to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2610 (but this time, you will have to jump back to the left, as the shells that the tank is firing at you explode in front of you); once the tank rolls into view through the open metal door on the right side of the screen, you'll have to repeat what you did for the first one earlier in this stage. Once you have killed the tank's driver and the tank has reversed its direction towards you for a second time, you'll have to jump back to the right onto its body, then drop down off the other side of it for a third time - and once you've done so, Kunoichi and Ninja will walk through that aforementioned open metal door on the right side of the screen. Both players will then receive a bonus of 50 points for every shuriken they have remaining (followed by one of 30 points for every fragment of energy they have remaining), and proceed to the [[The Ninja Warriors/Stage 3|third stage]] (which is the first stage to feature staircases, and they must be used to reach its boss within the five-minute time limit).

Again, if you don't kill all the non-gangster enemies quickly enough (and this may only be done if you kill the aforementioned second gangster as soon as he appears), the commander shall order ''Retreat!'' from the Yamaha YM-2610 and any survivors (including the commander himself) shall run back off the screen's right side - and three more teal-uniformed soldiers will then come running towards you from the right side of the screen.
