There are three yellow runner bags hidden on every level, including the prologue, for a total of 30 bags throughout the game. While going through a level, red runner symbols 
appear indicating the presence of a runner bag. Collecting runner bags doesn't give you anything in-game, but does count toward three of the achievement/trophies:
Bag lady: Find all three bags in a single chapter.
Ran out of fingers: Find eleven of the hidden bags.
Packrat: Find all 30 hidden bags.
