Gameplay

Don't let this game's classification as an FPS fool you. Hell's Highway is equal parts cover-based shooter and tactical shooter. It is similar in many ways to Full Spectrum Warrior in that you will need to find ways to suppress and flank your enemies. Unlike Full Spectrum Warrior, though, you will have to issue orders solely from the vantage point of Sergent Matthew Baker, the main character which you will play throughout the entire game.

Controls

Baker controls much like any other cover-based first/third person shooter (the game switches into a third-person view when Baker is in cover). The only difference is your order interface. Throughout the game you will have control of one to three different fire teams. You issue movement orders by holding Mouse right click, indicating where you want your team to go, and then releasing Mouse right click.

Fire Teams

Assault: Your most mobile fire team. These are the guys you want to send around on flanking orders. They're fast, and they're accurate.

Base of Fire: They have automatic weapons which are good at suppressing enemy positions, but still retain some mobility. They can been used to flank a position if you assault team is tied up.

Machine Gun: Equipped with a Browning .30 caliber machine gun, this is the team you want to use when you absolutely need a position suppressed. They have the worst mobility of all of your teams (as the MG must be deployed/undeployed before moving), so don't even think about sending these guys around to flank someone.

Bazooka: These guys do one thing, and they do it very well. They blow stuff up. Fortified positions, bell towers, and tanks. They will also often be used to destroy objectives (such as cargo trucks). Their mobility is only slightly better than the MG team, so you should only use these guys for flanking if you have no other option.
