Episodes

As you talk with the residents, the story progresses through episodes. Multiple episodes can occur simultaneously and do not have to be in sequential order.

Monster Glims

Monster glims are shiny objects on the ground scattered throughout the town. Collecting seven of the same type rewards you with a monster card. You can also obtain some from completing episodes and winning monster card games. Some are hidden in the scenery.

Monster Cards

Once five cards are collected, you can challenge other kids to a monster card game. The game is similar to rock paper scissors. You and the opponent select five cards to place face down in a line. The number of wins, losses, and draws are totaled and two hints are revealed. Afterwards, you select two of your cards to swap and the opponent does the same. Each card is compared and winner is determined by rock, paper, scissors. For draws, the card strength determines the winner otherwise it remains a draw. If you win, you can cast a spell on the loser.

Linked Content

If you have save game data from either Liberation Maiden, Aero Porter, or Crimson Shroud, you can unlock the Space Defense Department Junior Member Notebook. The notebook can be accessed from the main menu by selecting "Linked Content." It contains concept art and other illustrations.
