Grandia II is the sequel to Grandia as a spiritual success. It's released on Dreamcast and Playstation 2 later on. More recently, as part of the Grandia HD Collection, this game has been updated for PC, PS4 and Nintendo Switch. The story follows Ryudo, guarding Elena when she unknowingly possess Millenia from another world that inhabits her body. They go through the adventure to resolve Elena's dilemma when Elena's group failed the ceremony, thus setting off around the world in cleansing Elena of her darkness while unknowingly allow Millennia to take over during the course of the story. The gameplay is almost similar with a few upgrades with the magic and moves, including allowing AI's to do the work for you, should you have trouble learning how this game works.
