This page is a work in progress. It has sections which are incomplete or currently under construction. If you have knowledge of this game or subject, you can either help by editing it to add to or improve the page, or discussing it on the talk page.

Note that dungeon-specific enemies are not covered, as they have very simple AI and usually die in one hit.

Health values are based on the basic button 1 button attack, which is the weakest. Other attacks deal more damage.

A special note about Battle Mode: for some reason you cannot jump over your enemies. If you do manage to get past them they zip backwards utnil you are in front of them again. There is no way to get around this.

Barbarian

Health: 2 bars
Attack: ½ bar
Drops: 1 vase

The Barbarian is the simplest foe. His only attack is a swipe. He goes down in a couple of hits, and is slow enough that he shouldn't be much of a bother.

Amazon

Ax Battler Amazon.png

Health: 1½ bars
Swipe: 1 bar
Jump: ???
Drops: 1 or 2 vases

The Amazon is more of a worry. She has a jump attack, which deals slightly more damage.

Skeleton

Health: 4 bars
Swipe: 1 bar
Jump: ???
Thrust: ???
Drops: 2 vases

Skeletons are rare during the first part of the game but become more frequent after that. Just like their Golden Axe counterparts they have a downward thrust in addition to the normal jump attack, where they bring their weapon down and use the weight of their falling body to thrust it home. This is their most damaging attack.

Knight

Health: ???
Swipe: ???
Drops: ? vase(s)

The knight is slow but fairly powerful. If you attack at once rather than letting him come to you you should have room to work in.

Neo Barbarian

Health: ???
Swipe: ???
Jump: ???
Drops: ? vase(s)

Much the same as the Barbarian. Has more health and attacks do more damage.

Neo Amazon

Health: 4 bars
Swipe: 1 bar
Drops: 2 vases

Much the same as the Amazon. Has more health and attacks do more damage.

Neo Skeleton

Health: ???
Swipe: ???
Jump: ???
Thrust: ???
Drops: ? vase(s)

Much the same as the Skeleton. Has more health and attacks do more damage.

Neo Knight

Health: ???
Swipe: ???
Drops: ? vase(s)

Much the same as the Knight. Has more health and attacks do more damage.

Bad Brother

Health: ???
Swipe: ???
Drops: ? vase(s)

The Bad Brothers (called Bad Bra. in the game) are very powerful. You need to close in right away and use your most powerful attacks, retreating when appropriate, otherwise you'll run out of room to fight them in.

Death Adder

Health: ???
Swipe: ???
Punch: ???
Drops: ? vase(s)

Death Adder isn't the final boss of this game but is instead a high-level enemy that is found as you come nearer to his castle. In addition to a standard swipe attack he can also throw thunder punches. This is the best time to attack him: when he kneels to throw a thunder punch jump over it and use your most powerful attack. Repeat this and you should beat him.
