There are many shops in Baldur's Gate II. This is a guide to tell you which shops have which items, and how much they buy/sell them for.
How pricing works
When you are buying items, your cost is dependent on the "sells at" rate of the merchant, modified by your charisma and reputation modifiers. You can find those modifiers on the following charts:

Then your total buying price is found by the following formula:
- Price = Raw Value * Merchant Sells At * (Reputation Mod + Cha Mod)/100
For example, if you are buying a dagger +1, which has a raw value of 300 gp, and you have a 15 reputation and 19 charisma, and the merchant sells at 140%, then your total price should be:
- 300 * 1.40 * (95 + -20)/100 = 300 * 1.40 * .75 = 315 gp.
For selling items, the formula is much more basic. It is simply a matter of how many the merchant already has. If he has 0 of the items, then he will buy it for 30% of its price. If he has 1 of the items, he will buy it for 25%. If he has more than 1, then he will buy it for 20%. If the number he owns is unlimited, that is counted as 0 (so he will buy it for 30%.
So, if you tried to sell back that dagger +1, and the merchant already has 2 of them, then you will be able to sell it for:
- 300 * (20%) = 60 gp
