Pivotal Games were the developers of the Conflict series, which included Conflict: Desert Storm, Conflict: Desert Storm 2, Conflict: Vietnam, and Conflict: Global Storm. They also developed The Great Escape, based on the film of the same name. The newest title, Conflict: Denied Ops, was released on February 12, 2008.
Pivotal Games was acquired by Kaboom Studios in August 2000. When Kaboom Studios went into receivership, Pivotal Games was acquired by SCi. SCi was renamed to Eidos in 2005. As part of parent company Eidos's restructuring, Pivotal closed its doors on August 22, 2008.
