Eidos Interactive was a publisher of video and computer games with its parent company based in England.

Its most well-known game series include Tomb Raider, Hitman, Commandos, Deus Ex, Legacy of Kain, Thief, and Fear Effect.

Eidos Interactive merged with SCi in 2005. SCi renamed to Eidos in 2008. Eidos officially became part of Square Enix on April 22, 2009. Following a reorganization of Square Enix's European operations, Eidos was consolidated into a new branch, named Square Enix Europe.

Eidos Sweden and Eidos Studios Hungary[edit]

In 2006 Eidos branched off internationally for game development. Two studios, one in Sweden and one in Budapest, Hungary, were the result; the number of games with their names on them, however, are quite small. Eidos Studios Hungary released Battlestations: Midway, and Eidos Studios Sweden released Wacky Races: Crash & Dash.
