Due to this factor, this machine gun also the most effective of the group at longer range, when bursting or controlling the recoil is done effectively, it is hard to uproot if dug in. Rushing a crouched Mk. 48 is not a good plan- consider grenading the gunner before trying, or simply take a longer route to them to avoid being fired at as quickly.
