Basic Controls[edit]

The biggest thing which will surprise players who've only played later Command & Conquer or other RTS games is how rudimentary the control scheme is here in Dune II. Use the mouse, click a unit, click on its destination (or target, when attacking). There are no unit groups.

Keyboard Controls[edit]

  • M : Force Movement, rather than attack.
  • A : Force Attack, rather than movement.
  • H : Order a Harvester to Harvest Spice.
