Eternal Sonata/Chapter 1: Raindrops: Difference between revisions

Go up the steps on the right.  Pay attention to the resting traveler in front of the house.  You will see him again and again.  Enter the house. Search the shelves on the back wall for a [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Use Items|Peach Cookie]]. Go back down and over the bridge. Pass the man and horse and follow the signs to get to '''Tenuto Village: Flower Field.''' To the right as you enter the field there is a wooden shed. You will find a [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Use Items|Floral Powder]] here. At the far side of the field there is a bush under a large rock. If you search it you will find an [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Use Items|Angel Trumpet]].

 

After another Battle Tutorial follow the path all the way north. It is advisable to fight all the Florite mice you can. Try to run into them from behind as this will mean you start the fight behind them, giving you an extra turn. Avoid using [[Eternal Sonata/Move Mastery#Beat|Beat's Vivid Shot]], you can only carry 12 photos at a time and it is better to save the slots for the upcoming boss fight. By doing this you will get a lot more money. Go all the way up the path and open the chest for a [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Use Items|Peach Cookie]]. Head back down and cross the first bridge. Walk south for a chest with an [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Use Items|Angel Trumpet]]. Move back up and enter the glowing wall section for '''Ritardando Sewers: Center'''.

Walk straight over the bridge and through to '''Ritardando Sewers: East Side'''. Open the chest here for a [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Use Items|Poison Whitecap]]. Head back to the centre section and walk north. There is a switch on the wall to open the gate that's blocking the way. Once it is open go all the north for a [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Use Items|Peach Cookie]]. Cross the bridge made out of a ladder and walk north. Enter the glowing wall section for '''Ritardando Sewers: West Side'''.  

Before heading to the forest you can pick up some useful items from around Tenuto. At Polka's front door go west and follow the path down to the water for a [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Use Items|Floral Powder]]. Then go into the house for a conversation between Polka and her mother. When you can, go into the bedroom and search the plant for an [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Use Items|Angel Trumpet]]. Leave the house and cross the bridge. Search the flower patch next to the steps, on the left, for a [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Use Items|Peach Cookie]]. Go up the steps and follow the path to the forest.

Your first fight in this area will be against a Very Very Empty and it will contain the Echo tutoral. After this fight, go up the steps for a [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Accessories|Copper Necklace]]. Follow the path north to reach '''Agogo Forest: Middle South'''. At the fork in the road, head northeast for a [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Weapons|Serpentine Lock]], a new weapon for Beat. Walk back south and take the northwest path, and go north until reaching a Great Coconut that splits the path. Take the northeast path and down the stairs for a [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Armor|Light Guard]], new clothes for Allegretto. Now that you have equipped the Light Guard to Allegretto, you can give Beat his Mail Shirt.

The Baby Dragon drops a [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Weapons|Stone Sword Hilt]] and a [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Use_Items|Peach Cookie]].  

After the cutscene you will be back with Polka and Frederic in Agogo Forest. Equip the [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Weapons|Bamboo Shaft]] and the [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Weapons|Stone Sword Hilt]] to Frederic and then use the save point ahead. Straight ahead behind an enemy is a chest with a [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Use Items|Peach Cookie]].  Head northeast and then west past a fence for a chest containing [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Armor|Pretty Clothes]] for Polka. Walk north, up the steps and follow the path north, past the steps on the right, for a chest containing a [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Use Items|Glowing Tail]]. Go up the steps you just passed and walk north for a chest containing a [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Weapons|Wet Umbrella]], a new weapon for Polka. Go south and across the bridge and follow the path up the steps, continue through this area and up another set of steps. Fight the Giant Coconut to the west for a [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Armor|Hunting Coat]], new clothes for Frederic. Go back and follow the path east to the save point.

Follow the same path that you did with Polka and Frederic. All the chests will already be opened. Once you reach the clearing where Fugue fought Polka and Frederic, speak with the old man. He will trade you his [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Valuables|Green Paint]] for the [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Valuables|Dentures]]. Head all the way back to the Painter you spoke with earlier, and trade the [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Valuables|Green Paint]] for [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Valuables|Long Johns]]. There is also an EZI Shrine where you fought the Baby Dragon.  Located on the right side of the path, there is a large rock with a crack and yellow marking. If you inspect the rock shrine you will find 1 gold.

After the cutscene, head back into the village before going to help Polka. Search the stall next to [[Eternal Sonata/Characters#March|March]], on her right, for [[Eternal Sonata/Score Pieces#Score Piece 1|Score Piece 1]]. In the house behind her, search the bird cage for a [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Use Items|Twilight Feather]]. There's also a [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Use Items|Club Clover]] in a vase behind the curtains, located at the rear room on the right. Exit and continue east, past the save point, to find the village shop. Check the box next to the door for a [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Use Items|Floral Powder]] then walk east behind the tree for a [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Use Items|Glowing Tail]]. Take the spiral pathway down to the bottom of the tree to reach the shop counter.

Sell any photos you have taken and then buy the [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Weapons|Cork Baton]] for Frederic, [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Armor|Breast Guards]] (2) for Beat and Allegretto and [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Use Items|Guardian Clothes]] to give to Polka later. Now buy as many [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Use Items|Floral Powders]] as you can. The good thing with Floral Powders is that it restores a percentage of your maximum health rather than a fixed amount, so when you are a higher level you can still use these to great effect.

Once again restock your Item Set and return to the save point in the village. You can inspect the totem pole to the left of the arch you pass under on your way for 1 gold. Save before heading west to help Polka.

Kill the L'Opera Knights first and use Beat's [[Eternal Sonata/Photography|Vivid Shot]] to take photos if you are short on gold. Try to keep Allegretto in the light so he can use [[Eternal Sonata/Move Mastery#Allegretto|Sun Slash]] (unless he's already learned [[Eternal Sonata/Move Mastery#Allegretto|Shadow Assault]]) and keep Frederic in the shade for [[Eternal Sonata/Move Mastery#Frederick|Piu Grave]]. Build up your Echoes and do a 32 point special attack as often as possible.}}

The Ogre Champ drops a [[Eternal Sonata/Items#Weapons|Long Sword]], a weapon for Allegretto.
