It was originally supposed to be a sequel to the popular {{c|Strike}} series of games. In the game, players assume the role of a pilot for the X1-Alpha, a robot designed to fight in the "Crime War" in Los Angeles in the year 2098. The X1-Alpha is a police vehicle that can transform between a fast, hovering pursuit vehicle, and a slower, full-fledged combat mecha.

== Gameplay ==
The game has story and versus mode. In the story mode player goes through stages shooting enemies. The players mecha can transform to a hovercraft for speed and to hover on liquids.
 
Versus mode has the player battling other mecha or flying enemy. The mecha will be opponent in multiplayer and the plane is opponent in single player. Stage can be selected from a few stages. Everyone starts with a base that opponent must capture to win. Capturing can be done with a tank. Tanks and other vehicle can be bought. Turrets are spread out the area and can be used as allies. The turrets change to players color when turned to ally. The turrets, plane and players regenerate after being destroyed.
