Introduction
What this guide does:
- Help the average user locate and install MAME on their computer.
- Teach the average user how to configure and operate MAME.
- Teach the average user about the different variations of MAME.
- Inform users about support files and front-ends.
- Discuss controlelr options and lightly touch upon the phenomenon of building a MAME cabinet.
What this guide does not do:
- Teach a user how to find and download ROMs.
- Teach the user how to configure options that are unique to particular MAME variations.
- Teach the user how to operate MAME from anything other than a Windows/Linux/Mac environment.
