After creating a new character, one is brought to an area that resembles the backstage of a movie set. This can be skipped, but it is not beneficial. Players are given a costume that resembles a green apple that cannot be unequipped. In this area are props and backdrops depicting each town on Victoria Island, with a screen displaying each class in combat. The NPCs wear similar suits, except of red maple leaves. The player rolls down through the sets on a conveyor belt taking the typical quests. In the next area are various beginner quests and backdrops of the major Ossyria towns. Replacing the old Jr. Sentinels are Drum Bunnies and Leatty.
