Even though it's for the Nintendo 64, it's now also available on Wii and Wii U Virtual Console as well. Here's the standard controls. Also, minigames varies in button layout so pay attention to what controls you are using.
Wii U VC allows you to set custom controls. Be sure to map the 
button to the VC menu
