Mega Man 10 (ロックマン10宇宙からの脅威!! Rokkuman 10: Chū kara no Kyōi!!?, lit. Rockman 10: The Threat From Space!!) is a retro platformer by Inti Creates and Capcom. In following with the previous installment, Mega Man 10 uses 8-bit graphics and crudely synthesized sounds to mimic older games like Mega Man and Mega Man 2. The game is set to be available through WiiWare, Xbox Live Arcade, and the PlayStation Network.
Mega Man 10 will feature three playable characters including Proto Man — who is available from the start as opposed to requiring DLC as in Mega Man 9. Also added to the game is an Easy Mode that will alter levels to make them easier to traverse. This mode is aimed at players who are looking for a more casual experience or who are not used to the higher level of difficulty of older Mega Man titles. The Mega Man Challenges mode will allow players to hone their robot-hunting skills in preparation for later levels. Returning from Mega Man 9 are the in-between level item shop, online leaderboards, and DLC support.
