Spoiler

What follows is a list of the Ages visited in the new game of Myst V: End of Ages.

Very little information has been disclosed about any of the Ages besides Noloben, adding to the mystery of the game overall. More information will be available when the game is released in most stores worldwide.

Direbo

Creatures:Fireflies
Geography:A purple cavernous Age with underground streams and bridges.
Inhabitants:Esher
Vegetation:Strange round plants on long stalks.
Written by:Unknown

Direbo, seemingly the "hub" Age of the game, consists of a small underground cavern with several "islands", linked to by bridges. Each "island" contains a "linking bubble" with a special pedestal to link the player to other Ages in the game. Some of the islands also contain linking books.

Noloben

Noloben - The "beach Age". Not much is known about this Age, but it was originally designed for Uru, and later cancelled. Players will finally visit Noloben in Myst V after six years of waiting.

Other Ages

  • Age of D'ni - The large Age encompassing the underground cavern of D'ni, The Cleft on the surface, and nearby Tomahna. In Myst V, players will visit at the cavern (including the island of K'veer), the Cleft, and the tunnels connecting the two.
  • Myst (unconfirmed) - The "hub" Age from the original game has been seen in the official trailer, and its linking book was seen in one of the official gameplay videos. Fans have speculated that that players will be able to visit new underground areas never seen in the original game (the island having already been given new features in realMyst).
