Scizor is a Baton Passer usually, but it still needs a damaging attack. Scizor can use Silver Wind, which is a good attack in because Silver Wind can raise all of Scizor's stats. If it raises all of its stats, then that would be a very good thing to Baton Pass! However, some people do not have the patience to breed for Silver Wind, so they might use Hidden Power [Bug], which is a good alternative.

Scizor is barely a baton passer and worstly ,it is not even a special attacker. Plus, Silver Wind only raises the stats with a chance of 10%, that is equal to the chance to get a Freeze with an Ice Beam) If it raises all of its stats, then that would be a very good thing to Baton Pass! Do not follow that advice. The person who wrote wouldnt stand a chance versus real competitive battlers. To prove it, the person talks about Scizor like it is a special attacker. Scizor mainly has attacking moves like Superpower( Sometimes but not often seen) and Bullet Punch.
