This chart details the effectiveness of specific type attacks against dual type Pokémon. Each cell is color-coded to relate to a specific effectiveness detailed below.
Ineffective
Black cells designate Uneffective attacks. |
One or both of the types the dual type Pokemon has is unaffected by the element. Even if it's just 1 ineffective, it will nullify the attack and be rendered useless.
- EX. Ground vs. Fire/Flying
Not Very Effective
Blue and dark-blue cells designate Not Very Effective attacks. |
Dark-blue cells designate 1 Normal Effectiveness and 1 Not Very Effective. These do 0.5x damage.
- EX. Fighting vs. Flying/Dragon
Blue cells designate 2 Not Very Effective. These do 0.25x damage.
- EX. Fighting vs. Flying/Bug
Normal Effectiveness
White cells designate Normal Effectiveness attacks. |
This can either be 1 Super Effective, and 1 Not Very Effective...
- EX. Fire vs. Water/Grass
Or 2 Normal Effectives.
- EX: Normal VS Water/Flying
Both do Normal Damage.
Super Effective
Dark-red cells designate Super Effective attacks. |
Here there is 1 Super Effective and 1 Normal Effective occurring here. One is weak to that particular element the other is just normal. This does 2x the damage.
- EX: Fire vs. Grass/Poison
Ultra Effective
Red cells designate Ultra Effective attacks. |
Here there are 2 Super Effectives in occurring in one attack. Both of types are weak that particular element. This does 4x the damage.
- EX: Electric vs. Water/Flying
