An energetic young girl and main heroine of the [[Puyo Pop Fever|Fever series]]. She is a student of Primp Town's Magic School, training with the aim of becoming a good mage. Amitie tends to misunderstand things such as Raffina's hatred for her due to her lack of maturity and innocence, instead responding with kindness.

The protagonist of the Madou Monogatari series of RPGs and the original [[Puyo Puyo]] series, Arle is a heroic girl with great magic power. She tends to come face to face with her arch-rival, Satan, quite often, but defeats him every time. Her best friend is the yellow mascot of the series and former pet of Satan, Carbuncle, who she affectionately refers to as Carby.

The protagonist of Puyo Puyo 7, an intelligent girl with an interest in physics taught how to play Puyo by Arle. She's the first to meet Tee and is shown the power of Tetris by him; the two seem to show an interest in each other from that point. In contrast to Amitie and Arle's use of magic spells, Ringo's tend to be based on mathematics.

Schezo Wegey is a dark mage, using ancient magic and wielding a dark sword. Like many others, he's after Arle's magical power, aiming to be the strongest mage. He does his best to act cool, but is often mistaken as a pervert due to his determined remarks, such as his ambiguous catchphrase, "Be my desire"  

Satan, also known as the Dark Prince, is the conceited antagonist of the classic Puyo series, constantly battling Arle due to their clashing goals. However, he shows an interest in Arle beyond this and claims her to be his fiance, though unfortunately for Satan, the rest of the cast disbelieves these stories.

The antagonist of Puyo Puyo 7, he appropriately likes to annoy the heroine, Ringo. In 7, he possesses Arle for her magical power but is defeated. He subsequently attempts to possess Ringo but fails and is defeated by the trio of Arle, Amitie, and Ringo. In Puyo Puyo Tetris however, he, like Satan, plays more of a supportive role for the three girls and the Tet crew.

Tee is the young leader of the Tet space crew and the protagonist of the Tetris side. When Ringo is transported to his ship, he teaches her Tetris and learns about Puyo from her. Tee maintains a serious attitude most of the time, as he's actually the future king of the Tetrimino planet, replacing the previous king, the mysterious Ex.

Ex is the mysterious current king of the Tetrimino planet and guardian of time and space.
