The letters appear as flashing "N"s. They are worth 1000 points and gives the player a letter. If the players spells NINTENDO. The player's car will be upgraded.
Stars
Worth 100 points plus one missle or bomb
Skulls
Removes one missle or bomb.
Missle/Bomb
Worth 500 poins and earns the player a stockpile of 5 missles or bombs.
Upgrades
There are 3 upgrades ithe player can pick up:
Accelerator - Acceleration
Engine - Top Speed
Tire - Handling
The upgrades are worth 500 points each and upgrades that component.
