Points can be scored during the game, either at the end of each act or during the act itself.

End of Act Scoring[edit]

There are two bonuses at the end of each act: the Time Bonus and the Ring Bonus.

Time Bonus[edit]

The Time Bonus is awarded for completing the act in a certain amount of time. In general, the quicker you complete an act, the greater your Time Bonus will be.

Time 0:59 or less 1:00 – 1:29 1:30 – 1:59 2:00 – 2:29 2:30 – 2:59 3:00 – 3:29 3:30 – 9:58 9:59
Bonus Points 50,000 10,000 5,000 4,000 3,000 1,000 100 100,000

Ring Bonus[edit]

The Ring Bonus is awarded for the number of rings you have when you complete the act. It is equal to 100 times the number of rings you have.

In-Act Scoring[edit]

Badnik Chains[edit]

The most common way of scoring during an act is to destroy badniks. Individual badniks credit you with 100 points. However, it is also possible to destroy several badniks in a "chain", in order to get more points. To destroy badniks in a chain, you must destroy them, whilst remaining in a ball. If you return to your feet, you cancel the previous chain. The points build up as follows:

  • The first in a chain is worth 100 points.
  • The second is worth 200 points.
  • The 3rd is worth 500 points.
  • The 4th through to the 15th are 1000 points each.
  • After the 15th, each is worth 10'000 points each.
