We're avoiding the use of categories to link related pages together and are instead using a structured approach to naming pages (for example: Zelda: Ocarina of Time/The Beginning) along with a good table of contents (see Zelda: Ocarina of Time/Table of Contents)for each guide to bind all the pages together. (You might also want to note the basic navigation template for OoT and take note of the "next/previous page" style links at the bottom of most of its pages.) With as few pages as we have now, most of the regular contributors are against adding too many categories. A category for each game would simply be overkill if each game guide already has an easy-to-find and well-formatted Table of Contents and the pages are named using the slash convention, especially considering the volume of game guides that StrategyWiki may eventually have. --Doozer 16:59, 10 January 2006 (PST)

Hi Jackhynes! Thanks for starting to work on the GTA:SA pages. I have a few comments about the way it's going:

 • We probably don't need an entire San Andreas category. Instead a good Table of Contents should be created for the guide that's easy to find from the guide's main page.
 • The screenplay format you're using for the cutscenes is pretty cool, but in my opinion it takes up way too much space on the page. One of the goals we've kicked around in the IRC chat is keeping the focus of the guides on giving the reader the information they want quickly. It would probably be more appropriate to split the cutscene screenplays off to other pages and then link to those pages from the appropriate walkthrough pages.

Thanks! --Doozer 15:42, 10 January 2006 (PST)
