WarioWare Touched! is about as random as it gets, right down to the very concept. WarioWare is not one game as normal but hundreds of 5 second mini-games that you play in quick succession. The original WarioWare was for Game Boy Advance and many people loved the idea. With the new technology offered by the Nintendo DS (touch screen, microhphone, dual screens) Nintendo would be a fool not to make a sequel. So WarioWare: Touched! was born.

About WarioWare: Touched!

With the new technology offered by the Nintendo DS (touch screen, microhphone, dual screens) Nintendo would be a fool not to make a sequel. So WarioWare: Touched! was born.

The Basics

Simplified to the highest degree, WarioWare: Touched! is collection of 180, five second minigames, thrown at you over and over. The games are usually explained by one or two word instructions. There is a very short intermission between each game that displays the amount of lives you have left, and the current number of minigames that you've gone through. The games are usually based on reflexes and timing through the use of every Nintendo DS (excluding the D-Pad, face buttons, and shoulder buttons).

Controls

The controls for WarioWare: Touched! are about as simple as can be. You will never use the D-Pad, face buttons, or shoulder buttons (except when you want to pause the game, and for a few toys).

  • Start - Pause/unpause.
  • Up - Pause/unpause.

Almost any other time, you'll be using the touch screen or the microphone.

Toys

After completing certain objectives while playing the game, you'll unlock a variety of toys for you to play with. Most of the toys are quite useless, and only provide some quick fun or amazement. The following list of toys is sorted in alphabetical order.

Air Dude. Try to keep yourself floating in the air by blowing into the microphone. Try to get the high score.

Air Toss 2000. Blow into the microphone to make the ball float.

Big Hurl. Use the stylus to spin the man around with as much power as you can, then let go to set the ball flying. Try to get the high score.

Buble Blaster. Use the microphone to blow bubbles.

Calculator. Use the touch screen to input simple math equations and get the results.

Clacker. You'll find two balls hanging next to each other. Move one ball away from the other, and let it go. The force of the fall will hit the other ball and propel it in the opposite direction. It'll then repeat this process until there is no force left to move either ball.

Custard. Use the stylus to grab the custard and move/stretch it around.

Game Credits. This plays the game credits. You can also manipulate all the flying debris with your stylus.

Grandma Simulator. Blow into the microphone to simulate the act of cooling her tea. She will then reward you with some advice. The advice you are given is based on how you blow into the microphone (i.e. a loud blow, a soft blow, etc.).

Juggle Boy. To begin, tap the hand holding the object. You will then have to hit either hand as soon as the item falls onto it. As you go on, additional objects will appear, making it harder.

Kitchen Timer. This toy is the same thing as an actual egg timer. Set the time, start the countdown, and it will ring/notify you when time is up.

Light Show . Use the stylus to write. The writing appears in a rainbow color, then will slowly fade away.

Metronome. Set the intervals you want the metronome to chime at, then grab the hand to begin. It'll will sway back and forth according to the interval you had set, and chime at each end. Metronomes are commonly used to keep synchronized with a melody or beat.

Orbit Ball. Draw a line underneath the ball to start. When it falls on the line, it will bounce upward. Draw another line underneath the ball to keep it in the air.

Party Tooter. Blow into the microphone to use this.

Pet Brine Buddies. Use the microscope to search for minute creatures living within the glass.

Pet Chameleon. Pull down a wallpaper from the top of the touch screen to have the chamelon mimic it's design/pattern/color.

Pet Parrot. Talk into the micrphone, and the parrot will mimic what you say.

Piano. Similar to the Piano mini-game, you can simply do what you want with the keys here. Use the stylus to tap the keys to create sound.

Play By Ear. Use face buttons and D-Pad to maniuplate the tone of the sound that is played as you blow into the micrphone. Similar to a harmonica.

Ping Pong. Use the L/R buttons to swing the paddle and hit the ball. This can be played with another person (using only 1 Nintendo DS system). The paddle moves automatically, just press L or R.

Pyoro T. You are a creature trying to protect the flowers that reside on your area. Stretch Pyoro T in the opposite direction of your enemies and let go to have Pyoro T attack. In most cases, you will automatically eat your enemies. In others, his tounge will latch onto an enemy; you will then need to create a circle motion to drag the enemy in.

Reel-to-Reel. A creature that looks similar to a Chain-chomp will animation like a movie when you spin the reels.

Snore Rope. Blow into the microphone to propel the old man upward, and to keep him above the rotating rope. It's kind of like playing jump rope.

Snow Man. Roll the snowball around using the sylus.

Spirometer. Blow into the microphone to raise the ball and measure the amount of pressure used to do so.

They Hunger. Tap anywhere on the screen to have little creatures gather around the area. If you leave them alone, they will go off and create shapes or randomly move about.

Turntable. Use this toy to listen to the Mario Paint song, Hogan's Alley theme, or Ashley's theme.

Wario Paint. Select a color a tap somwhere within the picture to fill it with that color.

Wario Spinner . Blow into the microphone to spin the toy.

Whistle-a-Tune. Blow into the microphone to create a whistling sound. The tone you produce depends on how loud you blow into the microphone.

Wind Chime. Blow into the microphone to move to wind chime. It will produce noise as it moves.

Yo-Yo. Hold your Nintendo DS upside down, and drag your thumb down the touch screen in the motion you would use as if you were using a real yo-yo.
