Walkthrough[edit]

Start[edit]

This stage's layout is identical to that of Quickman's but with enemy and a few visual changes. Starting off, you will see Amazon's body spiked on the left. You can touch these without fear of death, but they won't do anything for you. Take some time to get your bearings while you can as this stage will be very frantic in a few places. Your rage meter will also build quickly in this stage, so use it often if you wish. Start by moving down the screen and encounter your first enemy, the Spiranha. Let it fall into the hole then advance, killing it if you want. Go down again and face off against Gizmoduck, who will fire at you if not killed quickly. If he moves left towards you, jump to avoid his shot. Advance by going down once again, but hold left as much as you can.

Lasers Part 1[edit]

The next few screens will have Quickman's instant kill lasers, so you need to move fast. There will be a Spiranha in the way if you drop too far to the right. Quickly advance down or the Spiranha will move left and attack you. Do not try to kill it as jumping will cause you to jump into the lasers.

You are now faced with a split path: Left or right.
1) Left: Going left is the easiest option with no benefits other than bypassing all the threats and lasers. Just be sure to hold left all the way down.
2) Right: Taking the right path is a huge challenge with the reward of an extra life at the end if you're quick and take all the correct paths. Going down a screen you'll notice another split path and another Gizmoduck on your left with a path going back left. If you start at the top of the screen, take the left separation as the right will kill you. You will land safely and be presented with a choice: Either move right QUICKLY, or take the left path back to safety. If you are too slow your right path will either close before you get to it or kill you on the way down. Should you make it, you are rewarded with an extra life. Beware the Xevio that will shoot from under you. Afterwards, there is a Skully in the way. Kill it and you'll be back on track.

Checkpoint[edit]

This part is your respawn point should you die. You will be faced against a Dinoroller, who is easily killed or avoided. Moving forward, the lights go out and the only thing visible is Abobo. You'll encounter Bub in a Sniper Armor who will jump at you a fixed distance. Shoot the armor til it dies, then Bub will be left standing. Kill Bub and move right. You will hit a wall and the lights will come back on, with a Punkin on high ground, shooting Hotheads/Sparkhards/Shiners/Flamings (The official name is Fire) that follow the ground. Killing the Punkin will turn the lights off again, so keep track of the stage's layout before the lights go out. There will be an just barely reachable Xevio above, so be careful. Kill both of them and move right. Alternatively, you may opt to stand on the ledge with the Punkin who will shoot over you and you can aim for the Xevio. After killing the Xevio, you can carefully jump over the Punkin leaving it alive and move right; You don't need to worry about it attacking you as it only shoots left. If you do this, you can farm out the Hotheads for free Rage meter if you choose.

You'll face off against a Cranky who will crank up and shoot an unkillable Virus at you and explode when it hits the wall. You can opt to stand on the ledge of the same level and jump over the virus or move forward into the small pit and use that as a safe area. Don't bother farming the Viruses as they don't build Rage. Kill the Cranky and move on. You'll get some light again and another Punkin will be on the right past a wall. You cannot jump over this safely as there is not enough height, and there are multiple enemies behind it. Shooting from the high ground will shoot over it and miss, so step on the same level ground and kill it from there. You'll encounter another Sniper Armor with another Bub in it, as well as another Xevio above. If you value your Rage meter, take it slow and fight defensively, killing one thing at a time. Once again, you can farm the Hotheads for Rage.

Moving right once again will face you with another Cranky, but this time there won't be much headroom to jump, so time your jumps carefully. Alternatively, you can go left and drop down to a safe area, move right a bit until it's barely on screen, shoot it a few times, and back off. Kill the Cranky and move on again. There will be a Xevio in the way ahead, so be prepared to kill it and dodge it's shots. A Skully will be waiting for you afterwards, kill it also and move on. The lights will come back on once again, and you will be forced to drop down.

Lasers Part 2[edit]

Upon going down, you'll end up behind a platform you have to jump over. Exit by going down and either left or right. Repeat on the next screen, navigating quickly. On the following screen your goal is the bottom left so move quick. The next screen's exit is also on the bottom left but you need to go down a stair formation and move left again. Hold left a little so you don't get instant killed on the following screen. On the next screen, you have a couple of pickups you can grab. The first item is health, and underneath that is an extra life. If you were too close to the right, you'll grab the health pickup and the laser will kill you. Since this isn't programmed exactly like Quickman's stage, this is a deathtrap. The best course of action is to skip the health and go for the extra life if you're bold. Go down and hold right as you need to snake your way past a block and go left and down again. Hold right once more to get that head start, and make sure you don't hold left too soon or you'll go into the alcove and guarantee your death either by the middle lasers or the bottom lasers. Once you pass those, you're golden.

Checkpoint 2[edit]

Now that you're past the hell that is the Lasers, you'll face off against Sophia. Doing half their health in damage, it'll start flying and dropping bombs. Defeat Sophia. From there, Jason will drop to the ground and run around helplessly. If you want an achievement, let Jason live. Be careful though, using your Rage meter will kill him. Ahead, you'll find two Sniper Armors both with Bubs in them. Kill them and move forward to find two Spranha and a Cranky behind them. Behind Cranky is a Dinoroller, and finally, a Skully. Enter the door for the boss fight.

Boss fight[edit]

This fight has multiple stages. A thing to note about your Rage attack is that it is not enemy animation cancelling here, like it is in some places. The projectiles will still be in the same location and it will raise Abobo a bit into the air, possibly setting him up for damage. During the first stage, just pummel Robobobo with shots as fast as you can. He is randomized but his tells are easy.
1) If he flashes and holds his hand up you'll see him first grab Dr. Wily and throw him at you. Dr. Wily cannot stop shots so keep shooting and jump over him. If he does this again, it'll be large Metal Blades instead.
2) He'll flash and shoot twice while jumping, then shoot twice more in midair while falling. Just keep your distance and keep shooting. Be sure to try and stay on the left side of the screen when you finish him.

His second stage will have him jump to the center-right of the screen and become Mechabobo. His only vulnerable spot is his head, so aim for that. If you haven't used tour rage meter yet, now is the time to do so. His attack patterns are also randomized so keep your eyes peeled.
1) If he turns into a puddle, move past him; he can't damage you in that form. He'll reform after flashing yellow.
2) He'll charge up his gun and shoot 3 quick shots horizontally, wait a shot time and do it again.
3) He'll shoot his shoulder spikes in the air and turn into a puddle. Again, walk over him and avoid the falling spikes. They'll drop from one side of the screen to the other. You'll be up against either wall when it's over.
4) He'll puddle up and stop in the center, then detach his head. At this point, his body will not do collision damage, so feel free to move around. His head will move to one side of the screen then charge an attack. It's similar to the gun attack, but he shoots one orb instead of 3, and does it 3 times. Afterwards the head will charge across the screen. Jump over it and continue the fight.

Once the fight is over, a cutscene will play regarding Aboboy's whereabouts.
