"The evil Wizard from 'Wizards Quest' has turned you into a ball and sent you to the dungeons to find and return a spell-book so he can become a much more powerful wizard. You have to find the book before you can be turned back into a human!"

To Load: Introduce the cassette and type CLOADM + Enter

Gameplay[edit]

You must avoid the spikes as the ball will burst if it touches them. The air pressure of the ball is shown by a bar at the bottom of the screen, and it is continually falling. Should the pressure drop too far you will die. Pressure can be increased by jumping onto a pump. If the pressure goes too high you will burst! If, after dying, you have any lives left you will re-start the game on the last pump you had been on. To pick up an object you should move the ball near to the object and press the spacebar. To drop an object also press the spacebar. The object will not be dropped if there is no space for it. You can drop an object more precisely by pointing the joystick in the direction to drop. Easier control may be gained by turning the joystick 45 degrees to the right.


First, to know your mission, you go to the right two screens and there under some movable boxes you'll find a book with the instructions to break your spell.

You can only carry one item at the time.So pick and drop the boxes one by one.

You can pick boxes or items when they are at the same height as you, so jump on another box or platform to get the box you want. If when pressing space there are more than one box to pick it picks the box down first then left, up and right regardless of the direction keys you are pushing at the moment. You can only pick up a box if nothing is on top of it.

Likewise you can only drop boxes on a place at the same height as you. If you aren't pressing any keys you'll drop the box to the right. If you are pressing some keys you'll drop the box in the direction you are facing. The boxes are dropped snapping into the closest possible position, ie. the rooms are formed by cubes in space which may be empty or occupied by one item. The dropped element will fit into one of these cubes. If the space is going to drop the box into is occupied it will try to find the next closest space. This isn't always possible and it will not drop it.


Take the book back to the start room and drop it. You will be told to find and bring to the start room the following items:

  • Buddha
  • Crucifix
  • Pumpkin
  • Dragon
  • Flask
  • Some beans.

You'll find the Crucifix on the place where you die the last game the last time. So you can let yourself killed one play on the start room and the next play you'll find the crucifix there. If you died on the pump of the start room just press space at the start of the new game before moving from the pump.

The other items are shown in the map. You have to take them in no particular order.

But you can go Crucifix,Flask,Dragon,Buddha,Beans,Pumpkin.

These items can also serve as boxes. The book spell can serve as a box too so if you already know your mission don't drop it on the start room until the end and use it to climb on it instead, what is the use of books if not for that?. Not all boxes that you see on a room are movable, some are there just for decoration. Boxes are valuable so don't leave them behind if you can avoid it and keep them near the start room to use them in other places.

When you die, if you have more lives you will reappear at the last pump you used and if you were carrying some item you will keep it. The diamonds you pick give you between 2 and 9 points. These are just for the score.

Some moving techniques are:

  • Jumping towards doors to avoid obstacles just in the entrance next room.
  • Position yourself just before jumping, keep pressed the jump button with no direction, and when you are at the top of the jump press the direction key.
  • To get into narrow aisles use the 8 directional move, press the key to advance and the key to get into the aisle at the same time.

The line 25 is for infinity air.

Type the loader or load it from a cassette, then introduce the Airball cassette and type run. It will load and execute Airball.
