Characters[edit]

Player[edit]

Player 2

You control the player throughout the game. You start with two balloons. The first time an enemy lands on you, you lose just one. When you have only one remaining balloon, your arm flaps are less effective at making you rise in the air. While turning around in the air, you must counter your momentum in the original direction before ultimately moving in the desired direction. In a two player game, each player is capable of harming the other. If cooperative play is intended, it is important to steer clear of one another in order to avoid a collision that might result in one player losing a balloon.

Enemies[edit]

Enemy 3

These are the invading enemies. They occur in three different colors; pink, green, and white. They are ordered from slowest and dumbest to fastest and smartest. When an enemy's balloon is popped, a parachute deploys and they begin to float down. They are worth even more points if you land on top of their parachute. If they are permitted to land safely, they will wait for a short while, and then begin to pump up a new balloon. If you do not kick them off the ground before their next balloon is ready, they rise back in to the air, this time one level smarter and faster (unless they were white to begin with.)

Features[edit]

Bubbles[edit]

Bubble
Bubble

Every time an enemy is killed, either by breaking their parachute, or by kicking them off the ground, a bubble rises out of the water. Collect it for 500 points, but don't put yourself in harms way to do so.

Bumpers[edit]

Bumper
Bumper

After the first two sets of stages, bumpers appear in the air. Bumpers begin to spin the first time they are hit. While spinning, they bounce players and enemies alike. The direction that you bounce away in is affected by the spin of the bumper. One stage can contain as many as four bumpers.

Big Fish[edit]

Fish
Fish

When enemies or players get too close to the surface of the water, a big hungry fish will jump up in an attempt to catch dinner. If you see the fish jumping towards you, flap like crazy and get out of its way.

Lightning[edit]

Lightning
Lightning

After you have spent a long time on the stage, the clouds will begin to emit lightning. A bolt will fly out of the cloud, leaving a spark behind. The spark will proceed to bounce around the screen in a diagonal motion. It will continue to do so until it lands in the water. Up to two sparks can bounce around the screen at one time.
